Bret Easton Ellis, author of the popular novel American Psycho, recently revealed how little the executives at Warner Bros. actually cared about the script for the upcoming Batman film. Well, now it seems he’s taking all of that back. He decided to reiterate what he said about the film and explained he only meant to describe the effect international audiences make on domestic films. He didn’t intend for it to become news about Batman. “The two executives I was having dinner with were relating the problems they had heard about the script from people working on the Batman project—that’s all.…

What if The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad were connected, like some kind of convoluted Marvel storyline that results in the minds of millions being blown away at the end? Most people would deny that these shows have any connection, that they’re far too different to be the same universe. But Netflix does a pretty good job at proving otherwise. What’s especially interesting is the specific coincidences, or rather connections, used in either series. One instance is that Walter’s blue meth from Breaking Bad is found on Merle in The Walking Dead. The connections don’t end there, however, and you…
Mel Gibson, whose career started with his 1979 breakthrough role in George Miller’s Mad Max, happens to have a spectacular eye for action. And this eye has carried over with his return to directing, in the form of 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge. And George Miller has similarly proven he still has an eye for action with the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. The film, featuring an all-new cast, has made a lot of fans of the franchise curious to hear what Gibson has to say. And now we know. Calling the editing work “stunning”, he went on to say this…
Although the season 7 premiere for Game of Thrones is still several months away, the plot for the entire season has online. Despite not having been officially confirmed, there is still an abundance of behind the scenes photos and videos that seem to add up with the plot details. The information stems from the Free Folk subreddit, which is a subreddit that has revealed several other accurate, albeit not perfect, details in the past. Check them out below: Daenerys and her crew finally arrive at Dragonstone, where her ancestors first landed before conquering Westeros. She summons the lords of Westeros…
Almost a week has past since Jeffrey Dean Morgan decided to introduce not one but two The Walking Dead stars to his bat Lucille. However, most fans of Supernatural remember him as the father of Sam and Dean Winchester from Supernatural. There he played a character with good intentions and a good heart; the complete antithesis of Negan, his character from The Walking Dead. This quickly resulted in dozens of crossover memes between the two shows, but star Jensen Ackles from Supernatural decided to add fuel to the fire with his own Instagram posts featuring a barbed-wire-covered bat. And, adding…
The 2011 prequel to John Carpenter’s The Thing has been one of the biggest disappointments in recent years. Its 1982 counterpart had so much potential for a prequel, and although the filmmakers tried their best to pay attention to detail, they failed in one major aspect. The practical effects had all been replaced by CGI. Horror fans in general have a distaste for CGI, so why the studio thought it was a good idea to replace all the practical effects with it makes no sense to me. Especially when you consider how notorious Carpenter’s version was for utilizing practical effects…
With Andrew Garfield starring on Jimmy Kimmel Live, it looks like the show may be our last look at the actor in his Spider-Man outfit. That’s right, he’s wearing the outfit in the promo below. And we probably won’t ever get another look at him in the suit again now that Marvel has rebooted Spider-Man once again with the permission of Sony. Of course he’s dressed up like the character before outside the movies, but it’s no doubt a privilege for many fans of the Amazing Spider-Man films to see him in his superhero gear. Especially for what could easily…
The working title for Deadpool 2 is now revealed thanks to a little production note. The film, currently looking for a director and finishing up casting, is being referred to as “Love Machine”. Why that, you ask? It’s likely a reference to Cable, a cybernetic mutant and sidekick of Deadpool which will be making his debut in the film. Unfortunately for the film, however, director Tim Miller – who played a large part in developing and directing the first outing – has left production. This has to do with creative differences with star Ryan Reynolds. Apparently they argued over Cable’s…
Uwe Boll, commonly cited as the worst director ever, has officially retired from his filmmaking career. And although all of his films have been negatively received, including adaptations of video games like House of the Dead and BloodRayne, that isn’t the reason for his departure. Rather, Boll insists the market for his films is dead. This means that his final film will be Rampage 3, to which he says: Rampage 3 will be watched on Netflix, DVD or iTunes or whatever. They’ll say, ‘That wonderful movie! I liked it blah, blah, blah,’ then watch Avengers. With streaming everywhere there…
