Another television series based on a pre-existing horror franchise has had a pilot ordered, and this time it takes The Exorcist to the small screen. It was announced by Deadline that Rupert Wyatt, the director of 2011’s Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, will direct the hour-long pilot which features two men following a family’s case of demonic possession – a modern reinvention inspired by the original book by William Peter Blatty and the film directed by William Friedkin. It turns out that while Deadpool is definitely an R-Rated and extreme type of film (especially by something to come out of Marvel), that there were some jokes that were actually deemed too much for the movie.
