Anthony Breznican of Entertainment Weekly has given his thoughts on the new Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. “If you loved Man of Steel, you’ll love BvS,” he said, while saying that if you didn’t like the ending of Man of Steel, “BvS may redeem that.” And if you weren’t fond of Man of Steel’s dark tone? “Probably not for you.” Finally, he added that Wonder Woman will be “fearsome” and that Batman and Superman will have “a moment” that will “make even the most cynical tear-up a little.” It sounds like Batman v. The Hollywood Reporter interviewed Frank Miller recently, and managed to ask him about a cancelled project with Darren Aronofsky. Miller revealed that the project was too dark for Warner Brothers at the time and had this to say about it: “It was the first time I worked on a Batman project with somebody whose vision of Batman was darker than mine. My Batman was too nice for him. We would argue about it, and I’d say, “Batman wouldn’t do that, he wouldn’t torture anybody,” and so on. We hashed out a screenplay, and we were wonderfully compensated, but then Warner Bros.…

In an interview between “Gods of Egypt” director Alex Proyas and Collider, the filmmaker stated his desire for Hollywood to leave the comic book property and his film of the same name “The Crow” alone in honor of Brandon Lee who died during production. “You know, I’ve moved on and I just feel like it’s… I personally feel like it’s kind of unnecessary. I’ve said this many times, I’ve completed the original movie to honor Brandon Lee and that’s the sole reason I did it. I’m happy I did it for that reason. I sort of feel like it’s his legacy…
