Fox is bringing their new Exorcist series, based on the book and movie of the same name, to Comic-Con; with it they’ve included an all-new trailer. The plot follows two very different priests as they tackle one family’s case of terrifying demonic possession. Personally, I think it’s an odd choice to call it The Exorcist – yeah, it does well for advertising purposes, but where in the story (beyond including an exorcism) does it connect to any of the existing work? It’s not a sequel, so it can only be considered a remake, but then it’s using all-new names and…
On July 19th, Evil Dead fans were treated to a new trailer for Season 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead, and ironically enough the trailer was so violent it had been banned from Comic-Con. And as you can see from the trailer below, it is quite violent, but that’s what Evil Dead is known for. It’s the last in a long line of exploitation horror that once thrived in the 1980s, and I’d say that’s something that should be respected. Of course, it also makes sense, given that 1980s horror was consistently banned and frowned upon. Some things never change,…
It’s no secret that the Joker will sport a variety of costumes in David Ayer’s upcoming film Suicide Squad. However, Comic-Con seems to have revealed the Joker will wear his own batsuit! Check out the image below: The image is of an action figure from Hot Toys that was displayed in Slideshow Collectables’ Comic-Con booth. The company is known for making accurate replications of characters and items seen in films, so it’s unlikely that this was made just for laughs. It seems we’ll have to wait until August 5 when Suicide Squad hits theaters to find out. https://youtu.be/fyJH39ZbPAg What do…

Superman: Dawn of Justice of Batman connecting his computer to the Oracle Network in order to decrypt one of Lex Luthor’s files: Oracle is, of course, an alter-ego of Barbara Gordon who is also known as Batgirl. Captain America: Civil War was a Marvel fan’s dream come true. Everyone got to a handful of their favorite superheroes, some for the first time, fight each other on the big screen. It was incredibly special as it was the first appearance for Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With that said, Captain America: Civil War had been in development for quite some time, and Marvel Visual Development Supervisor Andy Park was kind enough to release a photo used during the film’s development. The photo is also set to appear in the book Captain America: Civil War – Art of…
