Originally slated for next October, and then August, Alien: Covenant is set for theaters sooner than we think – and it seems nothing will stop it now as the first poster has been released. Although it’s just a teaser poster, it’s actually rather nice just to see the original Xenomorph again. That alone reveals quite a lot about the movie. And the tagline “Run.” is pretty straight to the point as well. It’s not as catchy as “In space no one can hear you scream,” but the message is pretty much the same. You’re screwed. The first poster is also…

WWE star Brock Lesnar recently lost to Bill Goldberg in devastating fashion; a wrestler who hasn’t participated in over ten years prior to the Survivor Series clash. With that in people’s minds, alongside the quickly-approaching Christmas season, it only makes sense to take a look at 2005’s Santa’s Slay. Why? Because it stars Bill Goldberg, of course! Directed by David Steiman, the film features a horrifying version of Santa Claus played by Bill Goldberg. In this story we learn that Santa is actually the son of Satan, who has to deliver gifts for 1,000 years after losing a bet to…

With everyone trying to cash-in on the new Logan trailer by creating their own variations, both from DC and Marvel, it’s Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man that really works with it. The trailer focuses a lot on Peter Parker and how he lost his Uncle Ben, something that really works with the somber tone of the trailer and song. And soon enough, when the music begins to amp up, so does the footage. The video quickly leads into various explosions and action sequences from the film before ending at Spider-Man’s final battle with the Green Goblin. Created by WebHeadHolland, the video proves…

One of actor Michael Shannon’s most popular roles is in 2013’s Man of Steel, where he plays General Zod; a Kryptonian military leader and enemy of Superman. While fans consider him one of the best parts of the movie, the actor recently explained in an interview with Fandango why he took the role: “When I did Man of Steel I thought the story was interesting; I thought it was relevant. It was about a civilization that destroys the planet they live on and goes looking for another one. Ring any bells? That’s why I did it. I didn’t do it…

Everyone’s been using the basis of the new Logan trailer to recreate trailers for all sorts of different movies, DC and Marvel alike. But it’s the new Logan styled trailer for Iron Man that really packs a punch. The video follows Tony throughout his life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he becomes Iron Man, fights through harder battles, and eventually loses his friends – all to Johnny Cash’s Hurt. It makes for a good video, and it’d probably make for a great final film; just imagine a dark and final Iron Man film to really delve deep into the…

Below is the trailer for Netflix’s all-new series based on Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events and starring Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf. With all the beautifully shot footage, it looks like Netflix went all out for the adaptation, and Daniel Handler’s book series definitely deserves it after its last less faithful adaptation from 2004. The Official Synopsis reads: A Series of Unfortunate Events recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny – whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The siblings must outsmart…

One of the biggest and most appealing aspects of LEGO bricks is the ability to create whatever you can imagine. It enables people the ability to construct cityscapes, both futuristic and ancient, characters, and anything beyond. And best of all, this gives the feeling that whatever you create could be a part of its own little reality. But what if it was a part of ours, and LEGO characters were real? Well, someone came up with the idea for it, and it’s nothing short of disturbing. In a new video from Adam Savage’s Tested, Norm Chan and Frank Ippolito feature…

Robert Eggers, director of The Witch, spoke with IndieWire’s Filmmaker Toolkit Podcast, and revealed that his next film will be a remake of Nosferatu from 1922. “[It’s shocking] to me,” said Eggers. “It feels ugly and blasphemous and egomaniacal and disgusting for a filmmaker in my place to do ‘Nosferatu’ next. I was really planning on waiting a while, but that’s how fate shook out.” This is set to happen just after Eggers had a hit with The Witch in 2016, a supernatural horror film which focuses on a 16 century family getting torn apart by a coven of witches.…

Sometimes fans can be a little more creative than the actual creators of the content they enjoy, and the upcoming game happens to be an example of such. One fan decided to take the recently-released WWE 2K17 video game and used it to create his own federation made up entirely by horror movie icons. Titled Ring of Horror, the federation was created using WWE 2K17’s community creations mode, which enables players to create their own superstars, title belts, shows, as well as arenas. Anthony Sketch, who came up with the federation, managed to tell Bloody-Disgusting a bit more about it.…
