The new adaptation of Stephen King’s It has finally wrapped production. And with everyone anxious to see more of the new Pennywise, we’ve finally gotten a new behind-the-scenes image! Photographer Christopher Mellvold took this photo while working on the set. It seems to show some kind of underground sewer, with a monitor in the middle displaying an image of Pennywise. The outfit isn’t too different from previously released photos, however, and we still get to see the medieval influences have remained. Check out the picture below: The film is about a group of childhood friends who reunite in their…

Every year there’s a sleeper hit for the horror genre, and 2016 is no exception. This year we have the TIFF movie Raw – a film that’s a little too extreme for some moviegoers. In fact, a screening earlier this week ended with a call to the paramedics. THR reports that several patrons fainted from the intense levels of violence and gore portrayed in the film. The film’s marketing rep at TIFF, Ryan Werner, says that “an ambulance had to be called to the scene as the film became too much for a couple patrons.” He also compared the film’s…

In August Marvel had 93 comics on sale compared to DC’s 75. And yet? DC Comics devastated Marvel Comics across the marketshare board, even placing 9 titles in the top 10. Harley Quinn #1 happened to be in the first spot, with only Amazing Spider-Man #16 able to get Marvel into the top ten. All of Marvel’s other books were beat about by four comics starring Harley Quinn and one starring Supergirl. It looks like this may be the case until October, where Marvel may have the upper hand with their release of Champions of #1. And, just to give…

8-Bit Movie Trailers has taken a shot at recreating the Comic-Con trailer for Justice League – and they do it perfectly. The video recreates the trailer shot for shot but adapts it to an old-school arcade format. The trailer follows Bruce Wayne in his attempt to track down Aquaman, his meeting with The Flash, and a quick montage of each hero displaying their different strengths. Finally, the heroes all join forces, preparing to unite against an unseen threat. This pretty much sums up the official plot of the film, which you can read below: “Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill),…

The Blu-ray for Captain America: Civil War has finally hit stores. The film was the fourth highest-grossing Marvel film yet, earning 1.1 billion dollars at the box office, so it only makes sense that Screen Junkies would coincide its home video release with a new Honest Trailer. Like all movies, Civil War definitely has its flaws, and who doesn’t love the hilarity with which Screen Junkies exposes them? It brilliantly compares Civil War to Batman v Superman, calls it Avengers 2.5, and even addresses how the previous Avengers films already had fight scenes between the heroes. It’s a great watch…

Director Conrad Vernon, fresh off the success of co-directing this year’s Sausage Party, is getting ready to remake the cult classic The Toxic Avenger. According to Deadline, it will be live-action, with a script by Steve Pink and D.C. Mitchell getting rewritten by Chris Poole and Mike Arnold. Personally, I’ve wanted to see a new Toxic Avenger film for ages now, although I was hoping it would be in the form of the long-gestured The Toxic Avenger 5: The Toxic Twins. Although there were also several status updates on a remake in the past, including one which would’ve starred Arnold…

Heather Langenkamp is one of the horror genre’s biggest icons. Although her resume doesn’t have much going towards quantity, she did go for quality with her portrayal as Nancy Thompson – one of the most beloved final girls of the genre. This is about to change, however, as Langenkamp is returning for a new fan film titled Don’t Fall Asleep. Langenkamp will be narrating the fan film which is set…
