Captain America: Civil War wasn’t always going to be the third Captain America film – that was a result of WB announcing Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. No, the original Captain America 3 would have been based on the Madbomb storyline from Captain America #193-200 by Jack Kirby. This was revealed by Joe and Anthony Russo who also explained the film would not have had an appearance from Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man. There was a period where we did discuss a third act that revolved around the Madbomb from Cap mythology,” Anthony Russo told EW. “It didn’t have…

Joe and Anthony Russo have explained that the ending for Captain America: Civil War is actually a symbol of something much bigger than most fans expected: Steve Rogers is no longer Captain America. I think him dropping that shield is him letting go of that identity,” said Joe. “It’s him admitting that certainly the identity of Captain America was in conflict with the very personal choice that he was making.” Although writer Christopher Markus explained Rogers’ leave might just be temporary. “There’s a big purple guy coming. He could be very helpful,” said the film’s co-writer. The “big purple guy” is…

Although Black Widow has become an increasingly popular character in the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe, there’s still a lot to her backstory that has been missing. It seems that almost wasn’t the case, however, as a deleted scene from Captain America: Civil War would’ve given much more insight to the character. Though the scene was never filmed, MoviePilot acquired a description of it from the movie’s “Junior Novelization”. Here we see more of Natasha’s training that was first depicted in Avengers: Age of Ultron. You can read the novelization excerpt below: Natasha studied Cap’s expression of resolve. A Nightmare on Elm Street is one of the few classic horror franchises left that doesn’t have a new film in the works (which is probably a good thing). However, that hasn’t stopped fans from stating who they want to see in Freddy’s trademark sweater and fedora. Recently a fan even tweeted Kevin Bacon, voicing their desire to see Bacon in the role. Warner Bros. has just released a full body picture of everyone’s favorite monster clown, and it’s quite the image. Portrayed by Bill Skarsgård, this version of Pennywise the Clown has a much darker, almost medieval aesthetic to it: Unfortunately, with the way the character worked in the book, it goes against everything Pennywise stood for. He took the form of a clown so that he could lure children by looking funny and nice. Then he would take the form of their worst fears – things other than clowns. Nevertheless, the film’s costume designer Janie Bryant seems to have a reason…

This has to be one of the most amusing letters revealed to the public since the infamous Sony leaks. A former Warner Bros. employee, with a name given only as “Gracie Law” (a character from John Carpenter’s Big Trouble in Little China), seems to have given studio chairperson and CEO Kevin Tsujihara quite the message. In fact, this message is so bold, it even goes out to director Zack Snyder. You just don’t get it. And it’s not just DC movies, it’s your whole slate,” says Law. “Jupiter Ascending. Get Hard.
