With Ghost Rider coming to Agents of SHIELD this fall, it seems Marvel has plans for a new comic launch to coincide with his arrival. That’s right, Ghost Rider is being revamped for Marvel. According to TVGuide.com, the new comic series will be written by Felipe Smith with interior art done by Danilo Beyruth. Despite the huge marketing push featuring Jared Leto’s Joker in the all-new Suicide Squad, his screentime in the film is actually quite short and spread out to about 20 minutes give or take. Star-Lord, the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, received a new look from artist Kris Anka for an all-new solo series. Anka is known for character redesigns, including many members of the X-Men and X-Force following the original Marvel NOW! Era. Issue #8 of Spider-Man/Deadpool will begin the reveal of whatever force has been giving the duo all their recent troubles. With that said, Marvel has sent out a preview of the comic, which includes the introduction of Patient Zero. There’s also a lot of animosity from Spider-Man’s side of the room. There’s an Easter egg in the all-new Suicide Squad that points out the real identity to Jason Todd/Robin’s killer. SPOILERS FOLLOW! According to the opening which featured some unique comic book-styled flashes featuring each character’s criminal history, Harley Quinn seems to be the murderer behind Jason Todd’s death; not the Joker. DC’s recent film releases have all been receiving extremely negative reception. This includes David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, the latest of DC’s new cinematic universe. The film currently has a 29% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is the same Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Despite the release date for Avengers: Infinity Wars coming ever closer, director James Gunn revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 won’t be using any of the Infinity Stones: This is quite a change from the first film which had its plot based around a MacGuffin in the form of the Reality Stone.
