It turns out that while Deadpool is definitely an R-Rated and extreme type of film (especially by something to come out of Marvel), that there were some jokes that were actually deemed too much for the movie. Ridley Scott returned to the Alien franchise in 2012 with Prometheus, both a spin-off and prequel to the 1979 Alien. And whether you hated or loved it, the film was successful enough for Fox to announce a sequel. Although it seems that Ridley Scott wants to bring it closer to Alien and further from Prometheus, with the new title being Alien: Covenant.
