According to an announcement made at the New York Comic Con, the next animated DC film will be a sequel to Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders titled “Batman vs. Two-Face”. WB Animation president Sam Register was the one to reveal a new teaser, showing a silhouette of what looked like Two-Face. A Gears of War film has been in various stages of development starting way back in 2007. The project has been stalled ever since, but it seems that may no longer be the case. James Mangold’s Wolverine 3 has been officially Logan, and new information has quickly been getting released. Wes Craven’s Scream briefly revived the horror genre for a short time in 1996. It brought self-referential humor to a style of film that was getting too dumbed down for its own good.
