The upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s It has so far been very limited in regards to footage. But with the film’s release just around the corner, there’s been an awfully large marketing push, and now a new TV spot has been revealed with a small previously unseen clip. Check it out below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uhv6sb83yM&feature=youtu.be The new clip definitely reminds me of another Stephen King adaptation, The Tommyknockers. There’s a sequence in that miniseries where housewife Becka Paulson is told by a talk show host on TV that her husband is cheating on her, which drives her to murder him. It’s interesting…

Audiences across the world were ecstatic to see Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees battle one another in 2003. And many had been waiting for a very long time. Since 1993, to be exact. Unfortunately it turned out to be the beginning of the end, albeit with a final tease. The film pulled what movies today like The Avengers do on a seemingly monthly basis. It ends with Freddy breaking free of the Earth’s surface and…

As most fans can imagine, during the adaptation process, many details from any film’s source material will have to be cut. Stephen King’s It is no different, especially considering the novel’s intense length. So intense, in fact, that the story will be getting split into two films. This has led plenty of fans curious about what will be getting cut from either film. Collider got a chance to speak with producer Barbara Muschetti regarding these cut details, including the massacre at Black Spot – a large part of It’s past – and she had this to say: They were able…

The old Pennywise has not been forgotten. While the newest trailer for Andy Muschietti’s It adaptation has been revealed, there’s a small Easter egg in the video for fans of the 1990 miniseries and Tim Curry’s performance. It’s definitely nice to see the old adaptation get some recognition. Though director Andy Muschietti didn’t have super positive comments about the 1990 adaptation: “Most of the people are excited about seeing a good adaptation.…

It looks like Terminator creator James Cameron is busy planning a trilogy to reboot the franchise. While the original two films, both written and directed by Cameron, are considered some of the greatest films ever made – the later sequels have been considered some of the worst. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Terminator Salvation tried to loosely continue the timeline, but Terminator: Genisys attempted to reboot it almost completely. The main connective tissue is that it brought back Arnold Schwarzenegger as an aging T-800, and for many fans it either made or broke that movie. In fact Genisys…

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has explained to Marvel fans just how the rights between them and Fox regarding the Skrulls work – and how they were able to implement them for Captain Marvel. It’s a rather exciting concept, as most thought Marvel couldn’t use the Skrull race and that’s why they had used the Chitauri instead for The Avengers. Gunn began using Twitter to explain the issue to fans, saying that only certain Skrulls used in Fantastic Four are restricted for Fox’s use – and that both companies can use the race in general. Retweeting this from…
