The newest Godzilla film is shaping up nicely for fans of the franchise. As opposed to the previous entry which introduced new monsters for the titular monster to fight, this one will be bringing in revamped versions of some fan favorites. This includes Mothra, Rodan, and the terrifying King Ghidorah. And now director Michael Dougherty has teased a direct connection to the 1954 original. Once it was announced that actress Milla Jovovich was starring in the upcoming Hellboy reboot as the Blood Queen, many fans noticed that the title seemed to drop the “Rise of the Blood Queen” subtitle.
