Like many other television properties of the 1990’s, Paramount has selected Are You Afraid of the Dark? as the next series to be adapted for film. If you’re afraid that the new movie might downplay the horror elements in order to appeal to younger kids, however, have no fear. Paramount has IT and Annabelle: Creation writer Gary Dauberman developing the script for the new film! Although it’s unlikely this movie would be released with anything more than a PG-13 rating, it is worth noting that both IT and Annabelle: Creation were R-Rated, so there’s a good chance this film will…

While The Untitled Deadpool Sequel (Deadpool 2) surprise trailer today showed a lot of emphasis on painting, it may have showed something else entirely. It’s quite possible that it confirmed the movie’s antagonist will be Nathan Essex, otherwise known as Mister Sinister. The Golden Globes work by categorizing films into two sections – “Drama” and “Comedy or Musical”. While most would assume a film like Jordan Peele’s Get Out would be thrown in with the drama category, given its obvious horror trademarks, it looks like that’s not the case if the film does get nominated. According to Variety Awards Editor Kristopher Tapley, there was a meeting by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to determine the categories. Interestingly enough they decided to label Get Out a “comedy”. It makes somewhat sense given that there are some comedic moments in the movie, and director…
