While The Untitled Deadpool Sequel (Deadpool 2) surprise trailer today showed a lot of emphasis on painting, it may have showed something else entirely. It’s quite possible that it confirmed the movie’s antagonist will be Nathan Essex, otherwise known as Mister Sinister. While we were treated to the unexpected first trailer for Deadpool 2 today, Fox also went ahead and launched a new website to promote the new film. Interestingly enough, the site also suggests a new title for the highly-anticipated sequel, which says: The Untitled Deadpool Sequel. Not only is it the highest-grossing Stephen King adaptation, but with its near $700 million worldwide gross, it’s become the highest-grossing horror film of all time. The Golden Globes work by categorizing films into two sections – “Drama” and “Comedy or Musical”. While most would assume a film like Jordan Peele’s Get Out would be thrown in with the drama category, given its obvious horror trademarks, it looks like that’s not the case if the film does get nominated. As we all know, a new Halloween sequel is set to begin filming this Fall, with David Gordon Green and Danny McBride at the helm. Green will direct from a script he wrote with McBride. Jamie Lee Curtis is set to reprise her iconic role of Laurie Strode, and fans everywhere are excited. Predator 2 originally went through a variety of concepts before the wild city of Los Angeles became the main setting. It turns out that there was an Easter egg connection between The Goonies and Jurassic Park that took almost 25 years for anyone to discover.
