The upcoming Halloween movie is definitely a highly anticipated one, as it’s been revealed that Jamie Lee Curtis is returning and that it’ll directly pick up after the events of the original – ignoring the sequels entirely. When the Halloween series first started out, Michael Myers was not a muscular brute like in later installments. He was rather slim and shaped like an average person – able to slip in and out of corners and out of sight. As this would suggest, he was only credited as “The Shape”, further crediting his lack of characterization. And now, according to Bloody-Disgusting,…

A creature effects artist named Mikkel Frandsen recently posted a sculpt of Venom onto his website. While it isn’t confirmed that he’s working…

While the Scream franchise is best known for having two killers in each installment (besides Scream 3), the concept would’ve been pushed past its limits had Scream 2 been filmed as originally intended. The sequel would’ve totally transcended the formula by revealing not just two or even three killers, but a whopping total of four. Unfortunately at the time of filming, the script was prematurely leaked online – forcing writer Kevin Williamson to develop a series of new drafts and rewrites to hide the new ending. Williamson recently spoke with Dread Central about the process, unveiling some of the killers…

Sony’s upcoming Venom movie continues production with the announcement of an all-new cast member. According to Variety, star Woody Harrelson has been attached to play in the film as “a henchman of sorts.” Although the announcement is a complete surprise, it does make sense considering Venom director Ruben Fleisher previously worked with Harrelson in his 2009 endeavor Zombieland. Let’s just hope his character ends up being as great as Tallahassee from Zombieland. There’s far too many villainous roles that wind up being unmemorable, and Harrelson is such a great actor that it wouldn’t be fair. Some have suspected the actor…
