Avengers: Infinity War is almost here, after years of foreshadowing the epic crossover sequel starring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will finally see Thanos invade the Earth – but it’s looking more and more likely that Avengers 4 will be the film that really changes the direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With such an epic story and ensemble cast of characters, fans have already speculated that some of our beloved heroes won’t be surviving the whole ordeal. Now Cinema Facts has supported this theory, as the Russo Brothers have given a list of heroes, one of which who may not be…

While the Scream franchise is best known for having two killers in each installment (besides Scream 3), the concept would’ve been pushed past its limits had Scream 2 been filmed as originally intended. The sequel would’ve totally transcended the formula by revealing not just two or even three killers, but a whopping total of four. Unfortunately at the time of filming, the script was prematurely leaked online – forcing writer Kevin Williamson to develop a series of new drafts and rewrites to hide the new ending. Williamson recently spoke with Dread Central about the process, unveiling some of the killers…

Sony’s upcoming Venom movie continues production with the announcement of an all-new cast member. According to Variety, star Woody Harrelson has been attached to play in the film as “a henchman of sorts.” Although the announcement is a complete surprise, it does make sense considering Venom director Ruben Fleisher previously worked with Harrelson in his 2009 endeavor Zombieland. Let’s just hope his character ends up being as great as Tallahassee from Zombieland. There’s far too many villainous roles that wind up being unmemorable, and Harrelson is such a great actor that it wouldn’t be fair. Some have suspected the actor…

Another trailer for the next installment in the seemingly endless Insidious franchise, Insidious: The Last Key, has premiered ahead of its release date next month, courtesy of Universal. The trailer reveals more about the film’s plot and what can be expected, which includes a truly generic montage of jump scares and bland settings. If you watched any of the lowest rated horror films of the last few years, odds are many of the same scenes and tropes from those are present in this trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6I3ALtvCmyE&feature=youtu.be It’s been said that these films are like some great return to form for the…

This year’s IT Movie was a major success, both financially and critically, but many fans are wondering: What’s next for Pennywise the Clown in IT: Chapter 2? Andy Muschietti took quite a few liberties when adapting Stephen King’s epic novel IT for the big screen. While some villains were changed, certain characters were absent, and the overall ending was changed, as well as key parts from Cary Fukunaga’s original script (thankfully, who wants to watch a child orgy in a sewer?) it’s still worth noting that the overall story leads us to the same place the novel and original 1990…

Though The Conjuring was a major success both financially and critically, I think it’s fair to say that no one really expected to see it grow into a cinematic universe of horror and suspense. While some could argue these spin-offs are straying too far from the source material, some of them are still based very much in reality. This happened to be the case with the first Annabelle film. The movie was inspired by a series of supposedly true events recorded and investigated by Ed and Lorraine Warren. But as these true story types of films go, Hollywood exaggerated and…

James Wan has made quite the impact on the horror genre over recent years. While he made his debut with Saw in 2004, he also supplied audiences with Dead Silence, Insidious, and the unbelievably successful The Conjuring.
