It’s been awhile since we heard anything regarding Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s movie adaptation. But according to Deadline, the wheels are finally moving, with Christopher Columbus set to write, direct, and produce the film! It was revealed last year that filmmaker Tom Holland had started work on a Fright Night 3 in the form of a novel. And while there still hasn’t been any news on the book’s release, Holland has spoken up about a listing for the novel on Amazon. It was only a matter of time before the comic spin-off Sabrina The Teenage Witch got the same treatment as Riverdale – seeing as how the show has been a massive hit. The Child’s Play franchise turns 30 this year. The newest installment in the long-running Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, Leatherface, finally saw a release late last year. The film premiered on DirecTV On Demand and eventually saw a Blu-ray and DVD release in the month of December. Only a few days have passed since we got our first look at the upcoming sixth film in the Tremors franchise, titled Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell.
