Everyone has been demanding details for Blumhouse’s upcoming Halloween movie, including how Laurie Strode fits into the picture. After all, it’s been 40 years, and considering she’s no longer Michael Myers’ sister – just how will the two meet up? While we still have no idea what sort of fate will throw the two back together, Jamie Lee Curtis has explained that the new movie is very similar to the original with her “granddaughter” taking her place. She explained it all in an interview with Yahoo! “And as soon as I read what David Green and Danny McBride had come…

Everyone has been thinking about killer clowns ever since Andy Muschietti’s IT movie adaptation hit theaters late last year. Now it seems like another clown horror film comes out every few months. We’ve had The Terrifier, the announcement of 3 From Hell with Captain Spaulding, and now Crepitus. What’s interesting about Crepitus, however, is that it stars genre actor Bill Moseley as the clown. An interesting twist, considering he’ll be starring alongside Sid Haig’s Captain Spaulding in the upcoming sequel to The Devil’s Rejects that we mentioned above. As always, we can expect Moseley to give the role his best…

The original Fright Night is quickly coming back in style. While the movie was remade in 2011, and again in 2015, it’s the original written and directed by Tom Holland that continues to be loved and referenced by fans. Holland understands this, and is actually writing a new sequel in the form of a novel because of it. Interestingly enough, however, we’re also getting a new comic series. There was once a short-lived series of comics launched in 1988 which were unfortunately canceled prematurely. Fans have been aching for more ever since, and Holland seems to have them covered. As…

Another iconic star has once again passed away, this time being the great Harry Anderson. He was best known for his appearances on Night Court, but also for playing the adult Richie in Tommy Lee Wallace’s original 1990 adaptation of Stephen King’s IT. While there isn’t much information given about his death, he was only 65 and found at his home in Asheville, North Carolina. According to TMZ, the actor went into cardiac arrest and wasn’t responsive when the paramedics arrived. It’s unfortunate because although Anderson didn’t have very many roles, he still did his best in the few he…

It’s been three years since Neill Blomkamp first teased his dream project, Alien 5 – a sequel to Ridley Scott’s Alien and James Cameron’s Aliens. The director took to Instagram and uploaded a variety of conceptual art pieces, all of which featured iconic characters, sets, and of course, aliens. Unfortunately the project was never officially announced as being greenlit. In fact, it’s gone through stages of complete silence in recent years. It seems to be the consensus that Ridley Scott had the project completely scrapped so he could continue his series of Prometheus sequels, and now Blomkamp has come out…

The third season of Starz’ series Ash vs. Evil Dead, based on Sam Raimi’s cult classic The Evil Dead and its sequels, has brought nothing but bad news for the franchise. While the episodes continue to be critical successes, the ratings are another story entirely. And, unfortunately for the show, they continue to spiral downward. The latest episode reached a mere 136,000 viewers, the lowest number the series has ever seen. While this doesn’t quite signal the end for the series, it’s still a very important time to prove its worth. In fact, Bruce Campbell explained this during the New…

The latest Dwayne Johnson movie Rampage has finally hit, and it has one thing in common with one of Johnson’s earlier films. They both happen to be video game adaptations. Unfortunately the other film happens to be 2005’s DOOM; a lackluster attempt at loosely adapting the iconic game franchise with the same name. While DOOM will forever be remembered as one of the worst video game adaptations of all time, it’s actually not alone in being hated. A lot of the time game adaptations fail to receive any kind of critical or fan acclaim, and given how Rampage is doing…
