Although Syfy’s horror anthology series Channel Zero did well with fans, it seems the SyFy network has decided not to renew the series for a fifth season. The series’ creator Nick Antosca broke the news via Instagram, where he wrote, “After 4 seasons, Channel Zero is no more at SYFY. I loved making this show and I would have loved to do more… but I can’t complain too much about doing 4 stories I loved with people who I loved working with. People like our writers, our actors, our extraordinary crew, the artists who contributed, our editors and post team,…

Let Me In is a remake based on one of the more memorable vampire films of our generation. In a time period flooded with either Twilight-inspired romances or direct-to-video sequels to The Lost Boys and 30 Days of Night, Let The Right One In and its remake were something a little more unique. The movies follow two young children, a 12-year-old boy named Owen and a girl he befriends named Abby. Owen happens to be a bullied student and Abby a much older vampire, and the duo begin to fall in love with each other. In this deleted scene that…

Todd Phillips’ Joker movie is turning out to be quite a different movie than anticipated. It seems instead of the average Joker story, this will be a lot higher concept. It’s even been compared to V for Vendetta because of its intense political themes. In particular, the keywords “heartbreaking,” “pitiful,” and “tragedy” have all been passed around for the movie. It’s really painting a portrait for how dark this version of the Joker will be, giving us a character study not quite seen before in a comic book flick. However, the social commentary might be a little too extensive for…

One of the biggest complaints people had about David Gordon Green’s Halloween movie happened to be Allyson’s boyfriend Cameron. While the character is portrayed as a completely unlikable jerk, he never receives any comeuppance for it. He’s simply forgotten about during the film’s fast-paced narrative. It’s a little unusual for a slasher film to leave such a character alive, and many fans have been asking why. Now, a new deleted scene from the home video release, posted by IGN, has answered that question. As it turns out, while the character survived Michael Myers he did in fact get apprehended by…

The Final Destination series is one of several horror franchises that, despite several sequels, never bothers to answer certain questions. For example, who is Tony Todd’s character? Can he be the actual embodiment of Death? It’s certainly an interesting premise. While these types of questions are probably better left unanswered, it hasn’t stopped fans from wanting a Final Destination 6 to be made. While it’s unfortunate that the franchise hasn’t continued, star Tony Todd who was involved with most of the movies managed to explain why. As he explained to Bloody-Disgusting, “I am [surprised] but I know why there hasn’t…

One of the biggest movies of 2018 whose hype has carried over into 2019 is none other than Netflix’s Bird Box. The movie follows a group of blind-folded survivors led by Sandra Bullock’s own masked character, as they must navigate the apocalypse without risking seeing eldritch monsters. The monsters, naturally, drive anyone insane enough to kill themselves once they’re fully revealed. But that’s what makes this movie interesting – the monsters never are revealed. It’s been the center of plenty of speculation for fans, just what these beasts could look like. Apparently there was going to be a dream sequence…

A Quiet Place happened to be one of the bigger horror film successes of 2018, and in today’s market that means a sequel is on the horizon. While most fans are excited to see A Quiet Place 2, don’t expect the movie to be closely connected to the first. In fact, John Krasinski suggests it’ll be told from another perspective entirely. According to ComicBook.com, he explained his reasoning. “The idea for it is pretty simple. I’m writing now—I don’t have it fleshed out—but the thought that occurred to me, that really excited me about it, was that most sequels are…
