The Marvel Cinematic Universe saw one of its biggest hits with the release of Avengers: Endgame, a movie which acts as the conclusion to Marvel’s very own Infinity Saga – which encompasses every movie up to that point since the release of Iron Man. As such, there was a lot hanging on the shoulders of Avengers: Endgame – and with so many movies and storylines thrown into the mix, the film was built with several massive layers of Easter eggs and obscure references. It appears there was one recently spotted Endgame Easter egg that will only be recognizable to those…

Because the Marvel Cinematic Universe is essentially run by Disney, which tends to neglect anything harder than a PG-13 rating, fans never expected that a new Blade movie would officially be integrated into the new franchise of superhero movies. But as it turns out, all of those fans were wrong – as we now know Blade will in fact be getting introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Kevin Feige revealed at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This time the character will be brought to life by actor Mahershala Ali, and while we still have awhile to wait before he…
Although there hasn’t been a proper Cheech and Chong movie since the 1980’s, that hasn’t stopped the two from having a massive impact on pop culture since their first appearances in the 1970’s. The duo, which consists of Richard “Cheech” Marin and Tommy Chong, have been featured in a variety of different projects which include movies, studio recordings, and stand-up comedy routines. But as it turns out, there was apparently almost a horror comedy featuring Cheech and Chong. Although the movie ultimately didn’t have a chance at getting made, it appears that Tommy Chong is still making another attempt at…

Todd McFarlane has been talking up his seemingly inevitable Spawn film reboot for years now, and it seems like this time he’ll have some rather big news coming up soon. While he’s made it clear that the last several attempts at bringing Spawn to the big screen were stopped by nervous studio executives that didn’t want to hand over the money or creative control that McFarlane has been seeking, it seems Joker might’ve helped turn that around. Todd McFarlane took to Instagram to tease this exciting news he’ll have to share sometime next month. Here’s what he stated: “Thanks to…
It’s looking like a sad month for horror movies. It hasn’t been very long since The Grudge earned the rare “F” rating from CinemaScore, and now it appears the newly released film The Turning has been next in line to receive the grade. As stated, the “F” rating is generally rare for horror movies when it comes to CinemaScore, so the fact two movies just this month earned such a low grade is incredibly surprising. What’s more, it’s especially shocking when you consider the range of critically acclaimed filmmakers behind the scenes for both films. After all, The Grudge was…
Audiences have been excited for the new comic book adaptation Bloodshot, which sees star Vin Diesel in the lead role. They’ve also been curious about the degree of violence and content which will be depicted in the film, and as we now know, Bloodshot will be rated PG-13. Here’s the official MPAA rating summary: “Intense sequences of violence, some suggestive material and language.” Hopefully the new PG-13 rating won’t have much of an effect on the movie’s ability to translate the content of the comics to the big screen. But given how much PG-13 has been capable of getting away…
