Not long after Disney released their Disney Plus streaming platform, a slew of new shows were available on the streaming service. This included Diary of a Future President, which first premiered in January 2019. While the series did well enough to receive a second season on the platform, it’s now been announced that the series has been canceled. There will not be a third season. Although the 2017 film Jigsaw revived the Saw franchise, the series went into a different direction in 2021.
