Marvel Studios has been busily expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a number of Disney Plus shows. Unlike the previous Netflix shows, such as Daredevil, these newer projects are much more connected to the overall MCU. Tom Holland has been busy developing a brand-new slew of Fright Night comics and books. Now the first of his new trilogy of Fright Night novels is finally here. The new book, titled Fright Night: Origins, will serve as a new adaptation of his original screenplay. It will follow the familiar narrative of the 1985 film while expanding the storyline for two additional novels. The bad news surrounding Blade seems to have gotten worse. Fans were already disappointed when it was announced that director Bassam Tariq stepped away from the project. While he’s still involved with Blade as an executive producer, Marvel Studios will need to find a brand-new director to helm the project. It was first announced in 2018 that a Conan the Barbarian TV series would be entering development. This was no doubt exciting news for fans of the franchise. With books, comics, and two different movie continuities to pull inspiration from – the possibilities seemed endless. The Scream franchise abruptly roared back to life with the release of the fifth film, titled Scream, earlier this year. The new sequel led to the greenlight for Scream 6, the next sequel in the fan-favorite film series.
