Two Marvel Cinematic Universe projects that fans haven’t heard much from recently include Loki Season 2 and Echo. It’s been revealed that fifth-grade teacher Jenna Barbee has been placed under investigation for screening a Disney film during class. The film just so happens to be the 2022 animated feature Strange World. For those unfamiliar with the film, and why it would place Barbee in such hot water, it’s due to the film’s more inclusive elements. The film happens to feature a subplot in which two young men have a gay romance together. As such, one parent has complained, and the Florida Department of Education is now investigating the matter. The next Venom film is inching closer to production. As such, casting is currently underway, and an exciting actor has just been attached to the project. It’s been revealed that Chiwetel Ejiofor has joined the cast of Venom 3. As noted via Deadline, however, it’s currently unknown what character he’ll be playing in the film. But it’s been stated that he will “co-star opposite Tom Hardy” in the upcoming sequel. Netflix’s newly-released docudrama Queen Cleopatra already faced controversy leading up to its premiere. And, with the series now available on the popular streaming service, it looks like things aren’t getting any better. In fact, Queen Cleopatra has the lowest audience score seemingly possible on Rotten Tomatoes at one percent. The incredibly low rating, which also counts as the lowest audience score in Netflix history on debut, was first reported by Forbes. Though it seems to have now climbed to a 2% score. Netflix once again has subscribers in a frenzy. This time over yet another series they’ve cancelled after just one season. Now these upset fans have gathered together in an attempt to save the Netflix series with a petition. The fan-favorite series, titled Lockwood & Co., is based on the book series by Jonathan Stroud.
