Growing up a film and television fan in the wonderful state of Massachusetts, he grew a strong attachment to personal dramas. Teaming up his fandom for the world of entertainment along with his love of writing was just an all too natural fit for Matt. He can be often found at the local cineplex, eating at the local restaurants or playing basketball at any basketball court across Mass.

Dopey genre films are a dime a dozen, but very few of the film are able to capture the batshit entertainment that can come with these films. Films like The Meg boast the premise and cast to make the film work, but the execution often ends up being too safe or contrived to make an impact.  If there’s anyone who can nail that tough tonal balance, its director Alexandre Aja, who has crafted several entertaining projects like Pirhana and The Hills Have Eyes. Working as a modern take on Bond with a splash of vulgarity, Kingsman: The Secret Service was a sizable success, so much that so that it got its own sequel The Golden Circle. Reception for that film, however, was noticeably weaker, with fans finding its sprawling length and overstuffed story a far cry from the original.
