Every piece of news from the Thor set only serves to get us more and more excited for its release – which, unfortunately, is still more than a year away. And this new tidbit is no different. It was reported a few days ago that a set piece of a New York City street was being built at the Australian filming location. Since no part of the Ragnarok story takes place on Earth, we’re thinking it’s for the post-credits scene. And this latest piece of news from the set might just lend some weight to that theory SPOILERS AHEAD!!! A…

The good people over at Couch Tomato have come up with another improbable comparison of two completely unrelated films. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never once pondered Christopher Nolan’s masterful Batman Begins and annoying 90’s kids’ movie Richie Rich in the same train of thought. But, as it turns out, the two have more similarities than you might think. 24, to be exact. From the obvious (son of a billionaire, stuffy English butler, parents killed, kid starts running the family business) to the more ponderous (butler becomes the kid’s guardian, kid drops out of school to mind his…

It seems like we’re getting new information almost daily about Spider-Man: Homecoming. We’ve just learned (maybe?) that Zendaya may be playing Peter Parker’s iconic love interest, Mary Jane Watson, and that villain The Shocker is joining The Vulture and The Tinkerer in antagonizing our young hero. (Let’s hope stuffing three villains into one movie doesn’t have the detrimental effect on this film that it had on the disastrous Spider-Man 3.) And now, there are hints of another possible Spideyverse character joining the fray. A casting call sheet leaked on the website Reddit lists young actress Tiffany Espensen simply as “Cindy.”…

Since the cast of Thor: Ragnarok was announced a few months ago, we’ve all been super stoked to see how the new characters would translate to the screen. Joining Thor, Loki, Odin, Heimdall, and Lady Sif & the Warriors Three, there’s Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, Karl Urban’s Skurge, and Cate Blanchett’s Hela, who looks to be the big bad in this one. And now, we might just have our first look at the lady of the underworld. Wendy Kingston, of Australia’s Gold Coast News, posted a picture on Twitter from the first day of filming. In it, we…

When you’re Kevin Smith, you’re used to taking the bad with the good. Sometimes your movies win awards and accolades; sometimes they’re reviled as a bigger bomb than the SCUD, and about as useless too. (Look it up, kids.) Some days you’re living the dream; others, you get told you’re too fat to fly. Basically, the world can be lovely, but it can also fling more poo than a rhesus monkey. It comes with the territory. However, when you’re Smith’s 17 year old daughter, you probably don’t expect to endure quite so much bullshit. You’d think people would be generally…

Is wrestling legend Goldberg headed back into the ring? Several hints have popped up lately. First, he was included as a playable character on WWE 2K17, despite having been out of action for more than a decade. Now there’s this. Brock Lesnar seems to have his panties in a twist over the fact that Goldberg’s presence is stealing the thunder he expected to receive as the game’s coverboy. Paul Heyman, doing what he does best, issued a condescending, backhanded compliment to Goldberg. “I think everyone should stand up and applaud Bill Goldberg for being a supporting player in the…

Last night on Raw, former WWE champion Seth Rollins was in the ring, running his mouth as usual. His beef at the moment is with former NXT standout Finn Balor, also known as the Demon King, who was recently called up to the main roster. It was pretty much your standard smack-talking session, until an incredibly stupid member of the audience decided to bum-rush the ring and get in Rollins’ face. Why in the world this moron thought he’d get away with it, we have no idea. But Rollins was having none of it. He pushed the village idiot…

Earlier this week, we told you that Marvel’s partnership with Netflix has led to several shows being in development. Now, Bleeding Cool tells us that no less than four pilot shorts have been filmed, each one for a different character. Rumors have been swirling for a while now that characters including Moon Knight, Blade, Spider-Woman and even Ghost Rider will be getting their own shows. But now, it looks like a character no one expected could be getting a show. White Tiger. It will reportedly be the fourth incarnation of the hero, embodied by Angela Del Toro, a woman of Puerto Rican…

Moon Film has made an awesome compilation showcasing (almost) EVERY comic book movie released in the last 50 years. From 1966’s Batman to 2016’s Dawn of Justice, and everything in between. I’m sure that making this video was quite an undertaking. Compiling titles, release dates, and footage for 100 films (yes, I counted) is no small feat. Fortunately, someone with more patience than myself has done a lovely job, and I have only to view and opine (and be sure to check out my personal ranking of the films below the video): So, while watching, it quickly occurred to me…

Marvel’s Most Wanted got the ax before it ever aired, leaving Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the only Marvel property currently on network television. But fear not, citizens. ABC network president Channing Dungey says that there are several series in the early stages of development. The new exec addressed TV critics at TCA 2016, sounding very hopeful about Marvel’s future at ABC. “Since I’ve been in this role, we’ve been in a number of really terrific conversations with the Marvel team. We’re actually sitting down in two weeks to discuss our next steps,” she tells IGN. Some of these properties…
