We all knew Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 would be a smash hit, based on the huge success of the first installment. However, when the original began production in 2013, it was quite a gamble. Earlier this week, we learned that actor Josh Brolin has officially been cast in the much-sought-after role of Cable in Deadpool 2. Some of us were stoked; some of us were disappointed; but generally, most of us were just surprised. He’s already currently portraying the villainous Thanos in the MCU. WWE fans were treated to a bit of a throwback on Monday night. Brutal backstage beatdowns were a staple of the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras, but they’re rarely seen on the current PG product. Poor Finn Balor. The night after becoming WWE’s first Universal Champion, he had to vacate the title due to a shoulder injury. The following six months were spent recovering from surgery, fighting to get back in the ring. That return finally happened. But now, less than two weeks later, Balor has been sidelined again, this time with a concussion.
