A fascinating new rumor suggests that Clint Barton may abandon his Hawkeye alter ego in Avengers 4. If so, he’ll likely do so in favor of a darker, lonelier identity. Marvel’s next TV show is going to have all kinds of girl power. THR reported today that the upcoming ABC show is going to be “more female skewed,” according to Karim Zreik, the studio’s Senior Vice President of Original Programming. He described the project as “Jessica Jones-esque,” though one would imagine there will likely be less sex and violence than Krysten Ritter engages in on her Netflix show. As LucasFilm continues to expand the Star Wars universe, they’ve finally settled on one of the franchise’s most popular characters for his own solo film: Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
