It’s hard to imagine it’s been almost a decade since we saw the beloved classic Zombieland, and with such great writing that lead to creating a true adaptation of the Merc with a Mouth, Rhett Reese and Paul Wenick have made the duo in R-rated action comedy. Talks of Zombieland 2 have been tossed back and forth and with some hopeful sequel news we’ve been waiting for in time for its 10 year anniversary. Talking to Vulture on some updates on the film, it looks to still be very active for the two writers and it seems that all our…

For its time, 1994’s X-Men The Animated Series took a very solid part of their efforts to give some of the best vocal performances for the characters in history. To this day, comic readers and X-Men fans alike took into heart the three-dimensional casting and even imagine the strong personalities exhibited through just the voice alone. Even the original X-Men films and some of its more prominent leads took great inspiration for finding their characters through that. It’s been a long while since we’ve heard the same voices ever be reprised again in any animated adaptation, and that saying goes…
Looks like a sequel to 2013’s Escape Plan is getting more over-the-top than ever and with a close release next month, in Escape Plan 2. One of the biggest reasons people saw the original was the duo star-power of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Unfortunately this time around, it seems our Austrian death machine has gone hasta la vista from the looks of the trailer. We at least get a great stand-in with Guardians of the the Galaxy’s Drax himself, Dave Bautista. You can check out the trailer below: https://youtu.be/6Q7vVt-MeXk Apparently due to the low box office and critical reception,…
Stan Lee’s media presence has been nothing short of depressing as of late. Many controversies have been lined up as of late with the godfather of Marvel heroes and it doesn’t seem to be pulling back on the poor guy. The passing of Joan Lee, the elder abuse reports, even downright scamming of his blood to sign Black Panther comic books is just the top of the list and we can’t help but show concern for Stan the Man. We have heard some form of message from him personally, which is sort of relieving to a context. Unfortunately, it doesn’t…
With nearly three decades worth of a hiatus, Bill & Ted 3 is finally going to happen and our iconic duo is officially ready to come back, according to Deadline. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are set to reprise the roles of Ted “Theodore” Logan and Bill S. Preston Esq. respectively for the sequel, titled Bill & Ted Face the Music. Returning on hand will be the original creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. Galaxy Quest and Red 2’s Dean Parisot is set for directing duties and Limitless producer Scott Kroopf to produce alongside Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce of…
The MCU has been building up its repertoire with its Marvel characters over the past 10 years quite well, and with even going as far back as to purchasing movie rights of other studios that helmed them before. The return of Spider-Man (well, shared by Sony and Disney) was a huge feat and just shows the sort of level it’s willing to go, with eventually all the rights going back into one steady universe. Or will it? While the Fox/Disney deal that would see the rights to X-Men and Fantastic Four return is just about complete, Comcast has been nosing…
Obvious Avengers: Infinity War spoilers ahead! Even with three words (or four rather – with “we”), Groot’s epochal “I am Groot” has been presented in every conversation with a very particular meaning behind it. Context has always been a huge thing when it comes to communicating with Groot and even if we can’t understand it as an audience, the feeling behind it and the help of how other fellow characters talk to him really bring out the most of our favorite tree man/boy. Still, there comes a time when we must attribute to behind-the-scenes to give us the right framework…
More speculation is coming to the minds of dire MCU fans, and rightfully so after the shattering series of events that happened at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. While a year for a follow-up to the blockbuster crossover of the century isn’t too bad a wait, the wait with many unanswered questions is still going to hit fans hard for the next bit. Even with a topic like the title of Avengers 4 is something being riled up over, and one of the Russo Brothers has decided to play a mean game of catch over the true title. It…
Films are always going to have their haters, and that goes no different for the likes of the gargantuan of a film in Avengers: Infinity War. Even the ones proven well with critics, financial-wise and the emotional tears of audiences alike are prone to the large effort of responses with trying to lower audience scores and even insulting those involved in the film. But this is just humor to the people behind the film, as another episode of Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets segment features the very people involved in Avengers themselves. ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live does it traditional run of…
The Power Rangers property has found a new home alongside transforming robots and magic ponies, as Hasbro has bought the rights to the popular action series from Haim Saban. The full purchase of the property will give rights of everything Power Rangers related, from television rights, toys and all other assets and naming rights with $522 million in cash and stocks. Brian Goldner, CEO of Hasbro, issued the following statement: Power Rangers is an iconic brand built on a heritage of great storytelling and merchandising with tremendous upside potential when fully executed across Hasbro’s Brand Blueprint. Shortly after entering into…
