Mr. Sunday Movies and the editing work of Oceansparks compiled a kill count for our favorite adamantium-clawed mutant (films only, the comic one would need a excruciating few days to get through), played by the long-running Hugh Jackman. Marvel and DC are the two household names of the comic and superhero industry now, with fans and even the companies themselves pitting each other in competition or team-up. The second season finale of The Flash took quite a big turn of reveals, most notably the identity of the Man in the Iron Mask. Last night’s episode, “The Race of His Life”, revealed him to be Jay Garrick, proving the popular theory among fans to be correct. It added when Henry Allen revealed that “Garrick” was actually his mother’s maiden name. With the rights for Blade in the shadows at Marvel, fans have been questioning if plans were to come to fruition soon, or even include the original Vampire Hunter, Wesley Snipes himself. Snipes was the star of the first Blade trilogy, the original R-rated Marvel films to reach success at the time with its $200 million in domestic records. Spider-man’s newest reincarnation in Captain America: Civil War has reached positive acclaim, with new information on his solo film being unveiled. The newest reference of Netflix’s adult Daredevil series has come from a very peculiar form of a kid’s toy line. Captain America: Civil War featured a new line of LEGO sets earlier this week, the merchandising focusing on the Spider-man branding as the selling point. With other characters from the film featured on the set, there was a hidden Easter egg in the form of the tanker truck. The truck included is branded with the Roxxon oil corporation logo.
