Wizard World Philadelphia had reporter Brandon Davis talk on-site with Chris Evans (Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Bucky) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon) from Captain America: Civil War. And it seems the actors themselves have some shared feelings with the fans on a future collaboration with the X-Men. It all started when the question of an Infinity War wishlist was brought up, and Stan brought up the topic of some certain M-words Marvel has yet to use: Looks like it’s time to get back some of those X-Men. Mystique. We need that Mystique.” Evans had his bets placed on two specific X-Men…

Another dramatic backlash has been caused by the people of Hollywood for the Ghostbusters reboot, this time in the form of comedian Judd Apatow. Apatow, writer of comedies such as This Is 40 and the 40 Year Old Virgin, personally defended the new Ghostbusters reboot, which has been subject to much controversy with both sexism and the quality of the two trailers (more than likely the latter), comparing the fans to supporters of Republican party member Donald Trump, who is running for president with his own record of controversy. “I would assume there’s a very large crossover of people who…
Wolverine is the best at what he does…and what he does has left quite a body count. Mr. Sunday Movies and the editing work of Oceansparks compiled a kill count for our favorite adamantium-clawed mutant (films only, the comic one would need a excruciating few days to get through), played by the long-running Hugh Jackman. The count includes both indirect and direct kills, and as much as want to count the cameo scene in X-Men: First Class, it sadly didn’t make the cut. The films in the count are X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine (although…
Marvel and DC are the two household names of the comic and superhero industry now, with fans and even the companies themselves pitting each other in competition or team-up. We’ve already seen universal fights, unlikely crossovers such as Punisher and Batman or Spider-man and Superman, even Amalgam’s fused characters like Dark Claw (Batman and Wolverine) have taken nods to the greatness of both properties. Being that the movies are the new big thing with the superhero and comic book genre, it’s growing debatable if we’ll ever see that possibility in the film universe. With the question many film goers and…
The second season finale of The Flash took quite a big turn of reveals, most notably the identity of the Man in the Iron Mask. Last night’s episode, “The Race of His Life”, revealed him to be Jay Garrick, proving the popular theory among fans to be correct. It added when Henry Allen revealed that “Garrick” was actually his mother’s maiden name. An Earth-3 speedster, he is the doppelganger of Henry Allen, who would technically be Barry Allen’s father, allowing the two to meet again in a peculiar way. As an added bonus, another familiar of the 90’s The Flash…
With the rights for Blade in the shadows at Marvel, fans have been questioning if plans were to come to fruition soon, or even include the original Vampire Hunter, Wesley Snipes himself. Snipes was the star of the first Blade trilogy, the original R-rated Marvel films to reach success at the time with its $200 million in domestic records. It’s also worth noting that the third film, Blade Trinity, featured Ryan Reynolds as Hannibal King, which was the closest we got to the Merc with a Mouth before Deadpool. Snipes teased on Twitter his side of the answer in two…
Spider-man’s newest reincarnation in Captain America: Civil War has reached positive acclaim, with new information on his solo film being unveiled. Joblo.com has spoken that Spidey Rogue Villain of the film will be targeted as the Vulture, rumored to be played by actor/winged-animal enthusiast Michael Keaton. Despite an Adrian Toomes being granted a cameo in The Amazing Spider-man 2, this film may mark the first film appearance of the Vulture. His origin is also spoken to be slightly different, with connecting to the Chitauri battle of the The Avengers, the suit will be salvaged from their alien technology and…
The newest reference of Netflix’s adult Daredevil series has come from a very peculiar form of a kid’s toy line. Captain America: Civil War featured a new line of LEGO sets earlier this week, the merchandising focusing on the Spider-man branding as the selling point. With other characters from the film featured on the set, there was a hidden Easter egg in the form of the tanker truck. The truck included is branded with the Roxxon oil corporation logo. The very same corporation that was featured in Season 2 of Daredevil, where Murdock learned of its sinister actions from Elektra.…
Empire Podcast organized a Q&A session with director Shane Black for his new film “The Nice Guys”. With exchanges with producer Joel Silver, Black got into some detail regarding the upcoming Predator film he’s taken on, entitled “The Predator”, taking the tone to a more “inventive sequel”: “It’s an attempt to ‘event-ise’ the Predator again. Make it more mysterious. The Predator has been so overdone. Every couple years, there’s a knock-off churned out. Very low budget with a guaranteed return.” The sister franchise alongside Alien, Predator has come across as a cult classic with its debut in 1987. Since then,…
When out promoting his latest films The Nice Guys, Shane Black noted back his experiences with directing Iron Man 3 in an interview with Uproxx. Whether the split reception of the film has caused you to like it hate it, there may be more fingers to point than Black’s involvement. Black spoke about Marvel’s control over the matter of the script, with one particular of him stressing the identity of the villain. There was an early draft of Iron Man 3 where we had an inkling of a problem, which is that we had a female character who was the villain in…
