In the newest Avengers: Infinity War TV spot, the end is near. Aside from the “end is near” soundbite, the 30 second clip recycles previously seen footage, however – it is the first TV spot to advertise the new release date for the film of April 27th, so fans are definitely going to be interested in seeing the new clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRtD_ifUHsI&feature=youtu.be We already knew the end was near for some prominent Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, as Kevin Feige has been hinting at it quite a bit this week: “I mean, I could always list off the characters that we’ve killed…

Following the massive success that was Deadpool, we have been eagerly awaiting its sequel. As yet untitled, Deadpool 2, is set for release on May 18th 2018, and we can’t help but wonder if it will be able to achieve the same glory as Deadpool. Obviously, it remains to be seen if it’s actually the case or not. Test screenings are always hit or miss (Suicide Squad received a standing ovation) and aren’t normally a reflection of what the finished product actually is. Unless it’s awful, in which case there’s really no saving the film at all. So far, the…

Black Panther was a massive success both critically and financially and is already the highest grossing Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to date – which says a lot. Naturally, people were wondering about Black Panther 2, and when we would get it. Well, in a recent interview with EW, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige revealed that we will in fact be getting a sequel to the beloved film: “Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that. One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what…

When it comes to horror movies and mainstream audiences, they’re normally hit or miss. The Strangers: Prey at Night is no different, as it’s getting some pretty bad reviews over at Rotten Tomatoes. That’s not to say that the film isn’t going to satisfy fans of the genre, however. And personally, I believe it shouldn’t really matter what someone else says about a movie. Just watch it yourselves. Regardless, here are the reviews for the film: The Good IGN: While the film does posses its share of admittedly cheap jump scares – those masks! – Prey at Night gets far more…

As we’ve seen countless times, sometimes the internet can say someone is dead – when they aren’t actually dead. Death hoaxes aren’t anything new, but this one involves someone very interesting. Superman. It’s interesting because Superman actually came back to life in Justice League, so for him to die again, would be devastating. In all seriousness, this doesn’t seem like a legitimate death hoax, and more along the lines of an error by Google, which said that Henry Cavill was dead: When you learn that you died 2 days ago…. A post shared by Henry Cavill (@henrycavill) on Mar 5, 2018…

Death Wish is a movie that was never going to get good reviews in this current political climate. Many people took issue with the fact that the film’s main star, Bruce Willis, was just a vigilante going around Chicago with a hood over his head executing people. Most people who have said these things never actually planned on watching the movie, and most likely just said them to get some attention. Putting all of that aside, it’s not like Death Wish was ever trying to win Oscars. Or even be a great action movie. Because it isn’t. It’s a movie…

Justice League was a film that obviously had the problem of dealing with two different tones because of two different directors. Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon are two very different filmmakers, and Warner Bros. thought it could be a good idea to combine the tones together after Snyder left due to a family tragedy before filming was complete. Add that in with some studio meddling, and you get one very incomplete movie. At Wizard World Cleveland, we were able to get the thoughts of two of the film’s main stars, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller, on what it was like…

Death Wish, the upcoming remake of the 1974 classic, which was directed by Eli Roth and stars Bruce Willis, already pissed certain people off when the trailer for the film was released last year. People suggested the movie was in poor taste, and the release was delayed due to the Stephen Paddock shooting. Some even suggested it was racist and fascist. Fast forward to now, and we know that there was a tragic shooting in Florida very recently. Apparently though, movies can’t be separate from reality in the case of this specific movie, and reviewers are being very political in…
