It’s hard to imagine Captain America being played by anyone other than Chris Evans. Friday the 13th is a beloved horror franchise, in no short part thanks to its hockey masked killer lead, Jason Voorhees. Luke Cage is no more – at least not at Netflix. The streaming giant decided to cancel the Marvel series only a week after they pulled the plug on Iron Fist, though this move is a little more surprising than that one. While the new Halloween movie is getting plenty of great reviews, there were a few people who didn’t enjoy the movie, which is fine, movies are obviously subjective. But if you go into a movie and review it simply based on how feminist it is, or something along those lines, you may end up being disappointed. The new Halloween movie hits theaters this week, and with that, the early reviews are here. There were some released after an early screening in August, but now they’re all here – and they suggest a great return for the franchise, as it looks to be the highest reviewed entry in the franchise since the original. Marvel’s Iron Fist has officially been cancelled by Netflix after only two seasons. The show’s first season had terrible reviews, and while the second season was perceived better, it appears that Season 1 really shut viewers off of ever tuning back in again. Following the news that Suicide Squad 2 will be written and directed by James Gunn, it’s fair to say that we won’t be seeing Jared Leto’s Joker in the upcoming film, due to the history between the two.
