Over the last few weeks, reports have been coming out about certain Marvel Cinematic Universe cast members being done with the franchise after Avengers: Endgame. While this is certainly possible, as we currently know nothing about what happens in that movie, it does seem a little odd that these stories would be coming out so close to the movie’s release. Pet Sematary screened at the South By Southwest film festival last night, and based on the early reactions/reviews – the film really delivers, which is welcome news for fans of the Stephen King novel. Everyone is impatiently awaiting the release of Avengers: Endgame, though with Captain Marvel out this week, fans are still getting their Marvel Cinematic Universe fix (the last movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp, was released all the way back in July of last year). Avengers: Endgame is expected to be the last movie for quite a few MCU stars – including Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. We say “expected” because none of us really know what’s going to happen. Sad news to report today, as Hollywood has lost another star today in Luke Perry. Perry suffered a major stroke last week, and didn’t recover. The actor was 52, and was most known for his roles on Beverly Hills, 90210, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Riverdale – among others. Variety gave this statement from the actor’s rep: “[Perry] was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The new Hellboy trailer has arrived – and for those expecting to see some bloody and brutal R-Rated violence – you’ve got your wish!
