With all of the Marvel Netflix announcements this week, we thought we would reiterate something – Dredd deserves a Netflix series. It’s almost too perfect not to happen and here’s why: 5. Netflix Is Making A Plethora Of Original Shows Besides Daredevil, Netflix has a lot of original programming and that is only expected to grow. Sources from TheWrap have indicated that Channing Tatum is leaving the ‘Gambit’ movie. This news comes a little out of left field considering that Tatum was at San Diego Comic-Con to hype the movie. One individual close to the project told TheWrap that Tatum’s reps are still in active discussions with FOX but acknowledged that “something is up”. In a recent interview, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos said that pretty soon, we’ll be guaranteed a new Marvel series twice a year:  “I think ideally there will be a rhythm of about every six months you’ll get a new season or a new series from the Defenders group. And then they’ll crossover into a combined [Defenders] season once we’ve launched the first season of each of the four characters.” With Jessica Jones expected to arrive in the Fall and Luke Cage to begin shooting in early 2016, it’s interesting to see what Netflix and Marvel have in store for us.…

According to a new report by That Hashtag Show, Marvel is in the stages of planning Phase 2 of their Netflix shows and are considering developing a Thunderbolts show. For those of you who don’t know, Thunderbolts are a super team consisting of different villains and anti-heroes who claim to be “reformed”. Some of the characters include include Crossbones, Mister Hyde, Red Hulk, Luke Cage, Bullseye, Elektra, Punisher, even Avengers such as Hawkeye and Black Widow. Norman Osborn has also been featured. If this is true, it could open up the MCU even more and the Netflix Universe would have endless possibilities.…

The image includes a saw blade with the initials of Melvin Potter who is known as the Gladiator and is a friend of Daredevil – having created his costume.
