Adi Shankar’s producing filmography is undeniably interesting. With titles ranging from Dredd to The Grey and even short films based on The Punisher, Venom and a “darker” Power Rangers (which you can find at the bottom of the page if you haven’t seen them yet) he gives us a look at things that other producers are too scared to take chances with. While he’s already established himself as one of the top young producers in Hollywood, he’s also directing Gods and Secrets. We thought we’d find out what his 5 of his favorite films were and why. Rumors circulated last week about George Miller possibly directing Man of Steel 2. Well, apparently, WB has put the sequel on a “permanent hold” according to DenOfGeek: We’ve since heard from two sources that there might be substance to this rumor. They tell us that Miller is indeed in talks with Warner Bros. about the possibility of taking on one of its future DC movies, though exactly what that movie is hasn’t been decided as yet. One source said that what Miller directs will depend on what story most interests him, his take on it, and everyone’s availability. While this…
Even though GROOT only has a handful of lines (well, not even a handful) Vin Diesel has been confirmed by James Gunn to be returning for the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel. In a recent threat of comments on Gunn’s Facebook page, he confirmed as much: On the outside, it seems like this would be an obvious re-cast – but with the way that GOTG ended, it could have been up in the air. The sequel hits theaters on May 5, 2017. What do you guys think? Be sure to sound off below!
According to The Daily Mail, the director of Star Wars: Rogue One, Gareth Edwards, is planning to create an entirely CGI version of Peter Cushing’s Grand Moff Tarkin. As you all may know, Cushing passed away in 1994 – but that might not stop him from reprising the role. There haven’t been any details as to how the character will fit into the plot of the movie but the source does say that “it’s a significant role” and one of the “most complex and costly CGI re-creations ever”. As always, take this rumor with a grain of salt – but…
Conceptual artist Steve Jung was one of the many artists that 20th Century Fox brought into to work on the Fantastic Four reboot. Exploration of the Planet Zero and Victor’s castle…

Good news, right? Well, there’s more… The site also hears that it would be the new Blade – Fallon Grey – that the film would focus on. Of course, Fallon’s father is also a prominent character, so…
For a hero who follows a strict code of not killing people, Batman has actually killed quite a few people – more than you’d actually think. The video goes from Adam West to The Dark Knight Rises – but didn’t include Batman and Robin. Who cares about that, though? Check out the video below: What do you guys think? Over the weekend, Jeremy Renner was a featured guest at Wizard World Chicago – he was the main event and had a big panel. During the panel, Renner took questions from the crowd. One fan wanted to know if we’d ever see Hawkeye put on the mask in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – like the comics. “No, I don’t wear a mask,” Renner said. “You know the Ultimates version of Hawkeye?” Renner even played along with the enthusiastic young fan: “Where’s your mask?” he asked. You can check out the video below: What do you guys think? Be sure to sound…
There are obviously spoilers ahead, so if you don’t want to know any of this rumored information, don’t read any further. According to HeroicHollywood, Marisa Tomei was on the set of Civil War to film scenes as May Parker. Even just last week, a photo surfaced of furniture supposedly used to furnish the set of Peter Parker’s bedroom, so this could make sense. Of course, this is all unconfirmed – but interesting nonetheless. What do you guys think? Be sure to sound off below!
