If you ever watched the Power Rangers series as a little kid, you obviously should remember Rita Repulsa. Well, Lions Gate is doing a Power Rangers film and cast Elizabeth Banks in that role and obviously it’s fun to imagine what she would look like as the character. A fan went the extra mile, however, and created some interesting art depicting Banks as Repulsa. Check it out below: Source: ComicBook.com What do you think of the art? Sound off below!

Fans recently launched a petition for J.K. Simmons to return as J. Jonah Jameson for the Spider-Man reboot – which isn’t really a bad idea considering how well he played the character. However, Marvel seems to like to re-cast their characters for the MCU and it would probably confuse most people to see an actor from un-connected films. The petition reads: Some people aren’t too fond of Raimi’s Original Spider-Man Trilogy, others, like me, love it in spite of its flaws (in particular the first and second installments); however, the general consensus on Joseph Jonah Jameson’s character in those films…

While the Spider-Man trilogy for the most part was a huge success both critically and financially (excluding Spider-Man 3) there seems to be one person that didn’t enjoy the films. Harry Osborn. I mean – James Franco. In a recent interview with THR promoting his upcoming TV series 11.22.63, James Franco seemingly took a shot at the franchise: “There are certain things that you just would want to warn people about, but on the other hand, if I look back at just the small events of my own life, I know that sometimes the hardest things I had to go…

As we showed you yesterday, he also did designs for Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Here’s what he said about Miller’s pitch: “I was thinking about how enraging that Wolverine [X-Men Origins: Wolverine] movie was and I thought it would be funny to paint over one of their promo photos,” he wrote. “I believe Tim used this in one of his initial pitch packages.” Check out the art below: Source: Joshua James Shaw…

Though Star Wars: Episode VIII and Episode IX won’t be directed by JJ Abrams, he will still be an executive producer and a key member of the films going forward. The Force Awakens was universally praised for having diversity from all angles – except one. The LGBT community. Well, Abrams was asked if the upcoming films would have more gay characters and here’s what he said: “Of course!  When I talk about inclusivity it’s not excluding gay characters. It’s about inclusivity. So of course.  To me, the fun of Star Wars is the glory of possibility.  So it seems…

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be getting an “Ultimate Edition” blu-ray release – with an R-rating according to the Classifications and Ratings Administration. The R-rated cut is definitely unexpected but certainly not surprising given the recent success of Deadpool (which I realize wasn’t only successful because of its rating – but you know how studios get). One can only hope that Suicide Squad will also have an R-rated cut as well. Source: Classifications and Ratings Administration What do you think of this news? Sound off below!

As more and more details seem to come out about Captain America: Civil War, it seems that one thing continues to be echoed: The movie is going to have an ending that will keep people talking. Co-Director Joe Russo said as much during an interview with Empire: “The consequences of Civil War will have an even more significant impact [than The Winter Soldier],” he said. “In Civil War, we’re going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s psychology, and it’s an extreme shift.” The issue also said that the film will feature a “very dramatic ending that will be controversial for a lot…
