Like DREDD, fans have been very vocal about their support for a 3rd Hellboy film. And also like Dredd, the film’s main star has also been supportive of that idea. However, while promoting Season 2 of Hand of God, the actor gave some not so positive comments about the film happening: Meanwhile, having mounted a personal campaign to get “Hellboy 3” made, Perlman admitted that it “probably will never happen, though you never say never never.” While it doesn’t mean that we’ll never see another Hellboy film (look how long it took to get a Blade Runner sequel) it may…

In a week that has had a few strange news stories, this one might be the strangest (or most random). AllHipHop.com was reporting that Ice Cube could potentially become the next actor to play J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man reboot. Here’s what the report said: I always have mixed feelings on rappers entering the world of comics, but there is an issue that people have in general. The reassigning of color to formerly white characters. I get it. To make progress they have simply made former main characters that were white BLACK. Nick Fury transformed. Johnny Storm was Sue…
In an obvious move to capitalize off of the recent success of Deadpool, Sony is bringing back the Venom solo film that was in development hell (or cancelled?) and moving forward with it. Here’s more from the THR report: Sony has tapped Dante Harper to pen a script for Venom, something that is being envisioned as a franchise apart from and unrelated to the upcoming Spider-Man movie in the works with actor Tom Holland. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach, stewards of the Spider-Man properties, are producing and overseeing the project. So, this will be a stand alone franchise as it’s…
We now have the first look at the Power Rangers from the upcoming reboot – featuring Becky G, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin and Dacre Montgomery. Director Dean Israelite said that the story is going to reflect the lives of teens today and also commented on the film’s diversity: “From the very beginning, diversity was a very important part of the whole process,” Israelite told EW. “We switched all of the races around, but we made sure that the essence of each of those characters are who they were in the original show, and this really will be an…
Donald Trump is a very hot topic right now as the U.S. 2016 Presidential Election is coming up – as well as the release for FOX’s X-Men: Apocalypse. So it was only a matter of time (I guess?) before something like this happened. Max Goodrich has re-imagined the upcoming film with Donald Trump as the villain and changing the title slightly. Trump: Apocalypse. Check it out below: What did you think of the video? Sound off below!
In what continues to be Hollywood’s trend of unnecessary reboots and remakes rather than coming up with original ideas (Dredd franchise, anyone?) – the first trailer for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot has been released and it seems to follow that trend of being just that. Unnecessary. Check it out below: What’d you think of the trailer? Sound off below!
While the general consensus is that The Dark Knight trilogy is a masterpiece – one person apparently doesn’t feel that way about his performance in the films. Christian Bale. While promoting his latest film, Knight of Cups, he expressed disappointment in his portrayal of Batman: “I didn’t quite manage what I hoped I would throughout the trilogy,” Bale told Yahoo Movies (watch above). “Chris did, but my own sense of self is like, ‘I didn’t quite nail it.” He also offered some input on Heath Ledger’s performance: “Heath turned up, and just kind of completely ruined all my plans,” Bale said.…
With the release of Captain America: Civil War getting closer and closer – more details are starting to come out about the film. The latest is from Birth.Movies.Death who claim to have spoken with people that screened the movie and said that the last act of the film is brutal: “This movie picks up the pieces of Avengers: Age of Ultron in surprising and human ways and makes us feel the true cost of Sokovia. And I’ve been told that the last half hour of the film is brutal, both physically and emotionally. One person told me that the last act…
