Jared Leto has been in the news quite a bit lately. It’s not really a surprise considering he was promoting Suicide Squad because he plays The Joker in the film. Unless you’ve been living under a rock since the film came out, you’d be aware that the reaction to the actor’s version of the DC character was definitely divided – and Leto himself wasn’t too happy with the amount of footage that was cut from the film. While a lot of the news was taken out of context, it’s not really a surprise that a lot was cut out of the…

Earlier today, we reported that Tim Miller had left the Deadpool sequel over creative differences with Ryan Reynolds. It was apparently an amicable split, but now more details have come forward about the situation. According to The Wrap, the two could not agree on who to cast as Cable. The report states: Miller, who owns a visual effects studio and we’re told did much of the polishing work on the original Deadpool for free, wanted more of a stylized sequel, while the actor placed his focus more on the raunchy comedy style that earned the first movie its R rating. The…
Yesterday we reported that AT&T was very close to purchasing Time Warner – and it now appears they have reached an agreement for a whopping $80 billion dollars. Yes. You read that correctly. The deal is one reminiscent of when AT&T bought DirecTV – who will undoubtedly have huge control over the Entertainment landscape from here on out. According to a report from The Wall Street Journal: AT&T is expected to pay between $105 a share and $110 a share per Time Warner share in cash and stock, the Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the situation. Both companies are…
Yesterday we reported about AT&T being close to purchasing Time Warner (as soon as Monday) and the deal was met with mostly negative feedback. Most saying that it would give AT&T far too much power and monopolize that particular market. Well, Donald Trump has made his thoughts on the deal public (at a recent rally) and here’s what the Presidential candidate had to say: Additionally, Comcast’s purchase of NBC concentrates far too much power in one massive entity that is trying to tell the voters what to think and what to do.” “Deals like this destroy democracy.” He added:…
In some unexpected news, director Tim Miller, who was expected to helm Deadpool 2, has left the project over creative differences with Ryan Reynolds. Apparently, the exit happened yesterday and was an amicable one. The director hadn’t officially signed on to direct the project but was developing the script and widely expected to be behind the camera of the sequel. An exclusive report from Deadline reveals the following: I’ve confirmed from studio insiders this exit was over mutual creative differences, but this all ended amicably and the studio is very high on Miller and the expectation is the filmmaker will…
It was reported on Thursday by Bloomberg that AT&T was in advance discussions to buy Warner Bros. and DC Parent Time Warner and now, those discussions have apparently accelerated – to the point where AT&T is pushing for a deal to be done by Monday night. For those of you who follow this kind of stuff, you probably already know that AT&T bought DirecTV last year for $50 billion dollars. A deal like this would give AT&T a huge advantage in the Entertainment industry, as they would control DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. film and television, Hanna Barbera, CNN, HBO and…
As Marvel’s The Punisher is currently filming, we’ve been treated to all kinds of set photos over the past few weeks. Anything from Jon Bernthal having long hair and a massive beard to Bernthal eating a sandwich. We were even given photos confirming that Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) would be appearing on the show. Now, it appears, that the beard is still in tact, but the long hair is no more. Check it out below: An official release date for the show hasn’t been announced, but it’s been confirmed that the character will be appearing on The Defenders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HuEocXc1tI
Earlier today, we were given our first trailer for Logan. It was met with a pretty positive response from fans but I noticed a few were wondering whether or not it will be R-Rated (although it’s been confirmed). If you had any doubts, the latest International Trailer should put them to rest for sure. Check it out below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1aSAQ1CibQ In 2024, mutant births are severely in decline, and people aren’t sure why. A government-type operation is turning mutant children into killing machines. From this, Logan emerges as a mentor to a mutant girl, who has two claws instead of his…
Following yesterday’s six second tease of a trailer for a trailer – the first actual trailer (that’s a lot of times to say ‘trailer’ isn’t it?) for Hugh Jackman’s last portrayal as Wolverine is here. It’s been obvious that the film was going to take inspiration from (obviously not a full adaptation) of Old Man Logan and that appears to be the case. Featuring “Hurt” by Johnny Cash, the trailer is pretty emotional and full of action as well. It definitely looks like it will be the R-Rated version of Wolverine that we’ve all been waiting for, and could also…
