A new teaser for the upcoming Marvel Netflix series has been released – revealing a tease for the return of ELEKTRA. As you probably all remember, (for those who haven’t watched yet, obvious spoilers, but I mean – you’re here, right?) Elektra “died” at the end of Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil. We’ll find out for sure what’s going on when The Defenders hits Netflix later this year. The Defenders stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist. In addition, Elden Henson will be reprising as…

If you’re a big wrestling fan, you’re sure to know who STING is. The wrestler was a big part of WCW’s success in the 90’s and is regarded as one of the best wrestlers of all time. He came to WWE in 2015, only to wrestle two matches (losing both) and was seriously hurt in his final match which was why he retired a few months after. Our site had the pleasure of meeting him at a local wrestling event back in December and asked him if he planned on wrestling again for WWE (or returning at all for that…

Alien: Covenant finally comes out at the end of the month, and hopefully, it’ll be much better than Prometheus – and be the movie that most of us expected THAT movie to be. One movie that apparently won’t be happening at all, however, is Neil Blomkamp’s Alien 5. In a recent interview, director Ridley Scott had the following to say about the project: “I think [Blomkamp’s film] will never see the light… There was never a scenario, just an idea that evolved into a pitch of ten pages. I had to participate as a producer but it did not go…

The early reviews for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 are out, and at the time of writing this article, it currently sits at a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. Here are some of the notable (and positive reviews): The Wrap: “Vol. 2 is filler, to be sure, but if you like the flavor of these movies, you’ll enjoy this second bite.” Variety: “Shot for shot, line and line, it’s an extravagant and witty follow-up, made with the same friendly virtuosic dazzle. Yet this time you can sense just how hard the series’ wizard of a director, James Gunn, is working…

A new international trailer has been released for Justice League. The trailer is essentially the same as the one we were treated to back in March, but with a noticeably faster pace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Hn4r9hL8nA Fans who are looking forward to the film will undoubtedly be excited to see any new variation of the trailer, while hopefully, it will silence some doubters of the movie. Obviously, we’ll have to wait and see if that actually happens. Justice League hits theaters 17th, 2017. Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman,…

The ‘Martha’ scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Whether you thought it fit or not, it was certainly one of the (if not THE) most talked about movie scene of 2016. Personally, I didn’t think it was that bad, especially if you consider the fact that WB was asking Zack Snyder to make like 7 movies into one giant movie. It’s actually pretty clever if you take that into account. Well, Diane Lane recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, and was asked about that specific scene, and here’s what she had to say: “It’s the compassion for a…

The success of Logan and Deadpool have made many wonder if and when there will be an R-Rated film set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Both of those films were massive successes at the Box Office, and there are definitely quite a few characters that Marvel has the rights to that could use an R-Rating. Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, however, sees it differently, and doesn’t have any current plans for an R-Rated Marvel Studios film. Per Feige: “My takeaway from both of those films is not the R rating, it’s the risk they took, the chances they took,…

Going into this film, I’ll admit. I didn’t have very high expectations. That’s the only way to watch a movie like this, isn’t it? I mean, it’s not like any of the previous ‘Fast’ installments are made to win Oscars. They’re built for a certain audience, and that certain audience really loves them, as they’ve been Box Office monsters ever since their creation. The film begins with Dom Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) getting himself into a sort of predictable situation, but that was sort of expected once the movie starts. I’d also just like to take a moment to…

For years now, fans have been eager to see the Marvel Netflix Universe cross over into the film universe, since it’s allegedly all connected within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movies, however, have not referenced the shows and there doesn’t appear to be a timetable for that to happen. Could Spider-Man: Homecoming be the film to do it? Well, according to a recent interview with the movie’s producer Eric Carroll, it won’t be: “[He’s] not specifically referenced in this movie, no. I think that’s something we all think would be really fun, and it’s definitely a card I would love…

Yesterday, one of the more bigger castings of the year was confirmed when Josh Brolin joined Deadpool 2 as Cable. The decision was very surprising, as Brolin is currently playing Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Unvierse, as Deadpool is owned by 20th Century Fox. This would seem to point out that maybe his Thanos deal is only a two picture deal or that Disney/Marvel are cool with it. Either way, it was a pretty big surprise. Per the report: “Josh Brolin has nabbed the hotly contested role of Cable opposite Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.…
