Shazam is a DC film that we’ve heard a lot about for some time now, but nothing has really happened with it, aside from Dwayne Johnson, who plays The DCEU’s Black Adam, giving a few teases here and there. Back in April, The Rock said the following: “[What] we decided to do was to create a scenario where Black Adam has his stand-alone movie, and Captain Marvel, Shazam, has his stand-alone movie. We’re building our world that way, and then we can come together at some point.” According to Umberto Gonzalez, though, he won’t be in the Shazam movie at…

Oh, hi Mark! I’m sure most of you have already heard this line or seen it referenced somewhere, but if you haven’t, you have a little catching up to do. A film called ‘The Room’ was made back in 2003 and was written and directed by Tommy Wiseau. He also starred in it. What ended up coming out of that? Quite possibly the worst movie ever made. In case you haven’t seen any of it, brace yourselves for some of the worst filmmaking ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NOlzW8hx5A Well, the movie spawned a cult following, so much so that a movie has been…
The upcoming solo Venom film from Sony has been getting quite a bit of buzz as of late. Whether that buzz has been good or bad will ultimately be decided when the film hits theaters next year. Though the film will be set outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I personally still have high hopes for it, given that it has Tom Hardy, will feature Carnage and will sport an R-Rating. One interesting thing to note, however, is that the working title could hint at a pretty big change for the main character. According to a new report from Omega…
The new trailer for the long awaited sequel to the cult classic film Blade Runner – Blade Runner 2049 is here – and fans are sure to be even more excited. Check it out below: https://youtu.be/dZOaI_Fn5o4 Producer Ridley Scott is interested in expanding the franchise like Alien: “Yes. I think that, you know what, George has always proved that. Of course there’s always something. George Lucas. You know, and the way he’s handled Star Wars has been spectacular. It’s what I’ve been trying to do to really evolve Alien, because in those days I wasn’t into making sequels, but now…
HBO has revealed the first look at Al Pacino as former Penn State University Football head coach Joe Paterno from their upcoming film which is reportedly titled, Happy Valley. The plot is reported to be the following: “The film centers on Joe Paterno, who, after becoming the winningest coach in college football history, is embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal, challenging his legacy and forcing him to face questions of institutional failure regarding the victims.” Here’s the first picture: And Paterno himself for comparison: For those of you unfamiliar with the story, it’s very dark and disturbing. Footage from Avengers: Infinity War was revealed this weekend at Disney’s D-23 expo and apparently, it was insane (more details below). It’s definitely one of the most anticipated comic book films of all time, and now, it appears we may have our first look at Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the upcoming film. Obviously, this isn’t confirmation that the photo is even from Avengers: Infinity War – but the scene wasn’t in Spider-Man: Homecoming. ScreenRant notes, however, that Spider-Man ‘rocks the Iron Spider outfit’ in the trailer. As for the insane footage we mentioned earlier in the article, here’s what was…
A new poster for Avengers: Infinity War was released at D-23 this past weekend and it features Thanos wielding the Infinity Gauntlet! Check it out below: Avengers: Infinity War poster from D23! What do you think of Thanks Crunchers? pic.twitter.com/xccHCJdxNX — Couch Crunchers (@CouchCrunchers) July 15, 2017 An interesting thing to point out is that, this picture is similar to the other image we were given of Thanos, in which he does not have his helmet on: Thanos in the @MarvelStudios #D23Expo2017 booth. #AvengersInfinityWar 😱 pic.twitter.com/Hdte1wOK85 — DailySuperHero.com (@DailySuperHero) July 14, 2017 There was also reportedly ‘mind-blowing’ footage screened at…
One thing that Marvel fans have been waiting for since 2008 is a standalone Hulk film. That’s not to say that the one with Edward Norton wasn’t good, because it was a servicable Hulk film. It’s just that Norton was replaced by Ruffalo after he and Marvel Studios had some disagreements, and we haven’t gotten a solo Hulk film since. Don’t expect that to change, either – according to some comments yesterday from Ruffalo when asked by Variety: “I just want to make one thing perfectly clear today that a standalone Hulk movie will never happen. Because Universal has the…
While it hasn’t been released to the general public, the first footage from Avengers: Infinity War was revealed at the D-23 Expo today, and it sounds like it’s going to be great! Here’s a description of the footage: We’ll learn more about Thor and the Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok, but the Infinity War trailer opened with the Asgardian being flung against the windshield of the Milano, the ship commanded by Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) from Guardians of the Galaxy. “Get it off!” shouts Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), as though a particularly ugly bug had been smushed there. Mantis (Pom Klementieff)…
All kinds of new stuff is being revealed at the upcoming D-23 Expo, but one early thing we’ve had the pleasure of seeing is Thanos from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War film. Check out the new picture below: Thanos in the @MarvelStudios #D23Expo2017 booth. #AvengersInfinityWar 😱 pic.twitter.com/Hdte1wOK85 — DailySuperHero.com (@DailySuperHero) July 14, 2017 As far as a trailer, it could be a while according to Kevin Feige: “It’s a good question. I’m not sure. I think it would be late summer, early, mid fall? Ragnarok, probably.” Infinity War could also be the end of some key Avengers – according to…
