In something that pretty much never happens, footage shown during a major panel at San Diego Comic Con has leaked online. What footage, you ask? Only the trailer for possibly the biggest comic book movie EVER, in Avengers: Infinity War! Who knows how long it’ll be before we see the first footage from Aquaman, but, it was shown at San Diego Comic Con, and we at least have a description of the very small amount of footage that was shown. Yesterday, it was reported that Warner Bros. could be ready to usher Ben Affleck out of The DC Extended Universe by casting someone as as Batman. The report drew some skepticism, even though it was initially reported by the usually accurate Hollywood Reporter. Yesterday, fans of rock music were shocked and saddened to learn that Linkin Park front-man Chester Bennington committed suicide at the young age of 41. The news came only a couple of months after Chris Cornell had killed himself in that same exact way. As a fan of the Alien franchise (and even to a lesser extent, the Alien vs. Predator films) I can safely say that I was not a fan of Prometheus at all, and while Alien: Covenant was better than that film, it wasn’t that great.
