Pennywise the Clown isn’t just a clown. It’s an entity, one that is seemingly impossible to defeat. That is, of course, unless you are Batman. Batman killed a God once (I mean technically he comes back in Justice League, but still) so why not add something like IT to the list? A new fan video from Adeel of Steel gives us a pretty great look at how that potential showdown would be in this awesome new fan trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlWaXiJVwYI&feature=youtu.be We’ll see Batman next in Justice League, which Ben Affleck has revealed the caped crusader will be a much different character:…

Though Hugh Jackman has been viewed as irreplaceable as Marvel’s Wolverine, one actor I’ve seen get a positive reception by “fan casts” is Tom Hardy. Jackman even said he’d be okay with Hardy replacing him. It turns out we could have seen it, but Matthew Vaughn was turned down on the idea. In a recent interview with Deadline, Vaughn revealed: “After doing First Class, I really felt that I was playing in a sandpit that wasn’t my sandpit. It was Bryan Singer’s. Bryan wanted to direct First Class, and then we worked on the Days of Future Past screenplay. When…

Tim Curry’s portrayal of the serial killer clown in 1990’s IT adaptation is remembered by many of us (myself included) because it gave quite a bit of nightmares for years to come. The new Pennywise actor, Bill Skarsgård, was said to have traumatized children while filming this year’s IT movie adaptation, but apparently, he might not be the only one. Tim Curry revealed he did scare a child actor – though his story is a little funnier (video below): “I have a lot of sympathy for child actors. Most of them don’t know what the hell they’re doing there. There was…

Marvel’s Inhumans hasn’t had an easy road thus far. It was originally supposed to be a theatrical movie, until Marvel was able to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which put the Royal Family on hold. It was then announced that The Inhumans would be an ABC series but would premiere in IMAX before eventually airing on ABC. It’s also been said that the show was purposely produced quickly and cheaply – never a good sign. Well, it was screened to critics who absolutely destroyed it (it boasts a 7% on Rotten Tomatoes) and fans haven’t been kind based…

Some were beginning to speculate that Marvel’s Inhumans had been cancelled due some promotional material that was referring to the first season as the complete series. Well, ABC has reached out to us regarding that story, saying: Hello – We noticed the below story on ScreenGeek regarding a poster for “Marvel’s Inhumans.” Please be advised on background that this is the same promotional verbiage we’ve been using throughout our campaign, as this is not a new poster. So, there you have it. Marvel’s Inhumans may be a disaster so far critically, but it doesn’t appear that all is lost for…

Rose City Comic Con in Portland, Oregon has announced that they have banned cosplay depicting Marvel’s Red Skull and other members of the HYDRA organization. The comic book event released the following statement: “Hateful symbols aren’t welcome at Rose City Comic Con. Historical costumes can be great, but reminders of unspeakable atrocities are not appropriate – this goes for Old School Hydra and Red Skull or any other Nazis from entertainment properties. Those figures, while comic-related, are still very much Nazis. As a result, they are 100% banned, always. This includes any sort of “ironic” or satirical costumes that re-appropriate…

For those of you who have already seen the IT movie, you obviously know how the movie ends. For those of you haven’t, why are you even here? Jaeden Lieberher, the 14-year old actor who plays Losers Club leader Bill Denbrough, recently told Variety that we could have seen a different ending for the film: “I did have this scene where I climb up the tower at the end. When I’m chasing after Georgie, I climb the tower and I’m at a one-on-one confrontation with Pennywise and then I say that I’m not afraid of him, that none of the losers…

In case you were unaware, actual clowns are upset with Andy Muschietti’s recent movie adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘IT’. It prompted Pam Moody, President of the World Clown Association, to release a statement on the matter: “People had school shows and library shows that were canceled. That’s very unfortunate. The very public we’re trying to deliver positive and important messages to aren’t getting them.” She then went on to speak about how clowns are different from regular people: “They’re different from regular people — they’re costumed characters. But no one is picking on the Santa Clauses, because that would ruin the…

To say that Justice League was a highly anticipated film within the comic book community would be a massive understatement. Though the film has had trouble behind the scenes, it still should easily make a ton of cash at the Box Office. Warner Bros. apparently held a test screening last night, and the first reactions made their way onto Twitter: Looks like Justice League screened tonight… pic.twitter.com/tJq2JNldm5 — Lindsay (@Steele131) September 20, 2017 Well. “Fine” is “Fine”, though I think most of us were expecting quite a bit more. It’s hard to take these reactions seriously though, as it is…
