I want to assure you all that I am as shocked and bewildered at these claims as you must feel reading them. /1 — George Takei (@GeorgeTakei) November 11, 2017 The events he describes back in the 1980s simply did not occur, and I do not know why…

Actress Ellen Page is a very popular actress and is known by many Marvel fans as Shadowcat, a character that has appeared in numerous Marvel movies including 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand, directed by Brett Ratner. What many didn’t know, however, is what happened to Page on the set of that movie. The first reactions for Justice League are out, and while they’re not as positive as they were for Wonder Woman, they’re certainly better than they were for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, which were critically hammered. That didn’t stop fans from seeing the films, however, as they were box office hits. While these shouldn’t be mistaken as the first reviews, they’re a glimpse into what those reviews are going to most likely end up saying: Justice League is better than expected, but not a home run. The interaction between the team is a lot of fun.…

Disney announced plans to start their own streaming service in 2019, a move that was called greedy by some, but will ultimately be happening no matter what we think. They said they’d also be removing Star Wars and Marvel films as well. It’s not exactly a surprise, considering they own almost everything else at this point. From a business standpoint, why not try to compete with Netflix? The only problem here, though, could be Marvel’s original shows that are currently on Netflix. A new report from WSJ says that that Disney’s plans to buy FOX are from motivation to compete…

Gun violence has been a popular conversation for some time now. Most recently, Stephen Paddock, the shooter behind the Las Vegas massacre, was a hot topic. It was a topic that also gave Marvel’s The Punisher some trouble. While initially scheduled to have a panel at this year’s New York Comic Con, Marvel pulled the show out of the event entirely, saying that it would essentially be tasteless in light of the mentioned shooting. One even said the show should never air, and said that the character was basically Marvel’s mass shooter equivalent. Though the show was reportedly delayed, it’s…

In what will most likely be (you never know these days) the most bizarre and unexpected story you’ll read today, former Smallville actress Allison Mack, who fans may remember as Chloe Sullivan, is currently under investigation for being a high-level recruiter for a very sinister sounding sex cult.  Yes, you read that correctly. The group which calls themselves DOS, is reportedly a secret society for the highest ranking female members within the self-help group NXIVM, which apparently to outsiders, is just seen as a normal self-improvement group that offers classes to teach people how to live a successful and fulfilling life. Ex-members…
