The official Rotten Tomatoes score for Justice League, which was delayed but partially leaked yesterday, isn’t very good. After all the reviews were calculated, the film currently sits at a 40% on the aggregator website. It has 81 “rotten” reviews and 55 “fresh” reviews. It’s not as low as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice or Suicide Squad, but it’s definitely not anywhere close to Wonder Woman or Man of Steel, even. I’ll personally admit, though, that a lot of the negative reviews don’t really focus on the film itself, but rather on bashing it on a personal level. Here…

The first trailer for Deadpool 2 was released today, and though it was more of a teaser, it still has everyone talking. It was one of the top trending things for the day (on a day where Justice League is coming out the very next day) which is a pretty big thing in its own right. Reactions for the trailer have been pretty interesting, so we’ll give you some of the best Twitter has to offer: I just found the only reaction gif I’ll ever need again. The Rotten Tomatoes score of Justice League was supposed to be revealed tonight, right after Midnight, but someone managed to spot the score while using the Flixster app. Fast Company took a screenshot of the score: It’s in line with what the reviews for the film were saying, though it’s probably a bit harsh considering Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had a pretty low rating (29% I believe). It’s said to be better than that film, but not better than Wonder Woman. Charlies Roven, one of the DC Films producers, recently said that the movie is about 80% Zack…
First off, I’d like to say that I’m a fan of the DC Films that have been released so far. Well, aside from Suicide Squad, which Warner Bros. heavily interfered with. Aside from that, I thought the films were pretty good. Man of Steel is underrated, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice gets far too much hate, and Wonder Woman was pretty good – Justice League looks to be in line with those 3. The majority of the critics, however, don’t like (or understand) Zack Snyder’s overall plan for the DC Films Universe. It was supposed to be dark at…
The first Deadpool 2 trailer has been released, but it’s mainly just a tease for the actual full trailer that will probably be here on Thanksgiving – if you read into the obvious clues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-5Wv9UGkN8&feature=youtu.be The film initially suffered a few setbacks, including Tim Miller, director of the first film, leaving the sequel, saying: “There was a sense of relief in that I get to do something new versus Deadpool 2. I think it would’ve been a great movie, but it was also going to be a continuation of what we had done. This really gave me a chance to…
Though it seems to come and go, news about The Batman, the upcoming solo Batman film for DC Films, has been ever present for the last few years. With speculation that Ben Affleck may not play the character much longer, and the things the actor said himself in an interview last week, it makes it hard to know for sure what he’s actually thinking. When asked about the film in a another recent interview, this time with USA Today, Ben Affleck said it was something he was contemplating, adding: “You don’t do it forever, so I want to find a…
It seems as though some pretty disturbing cases of sexual misconduct have been buried in Hollywood for quite some time now. A rampant string of accusations are currently facing quite a few major Hollywood stars at the moment and one that appears to have been unburied involves actor John Travolta. Radar Online says that they have obtained a police report that says Travolta was accused of what the report deemed homosexual battery back in 2000: John Travolta has been named in a criminal complaint by a 21-year-old masseur who accused the Pulp Fiction star of sexual battery. RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained the explosive police report that charges…
After actor Anthony Rapp did an interview in which he accused Kevin Spacey of sexual misconduct when Rapp was just 14, Spacey released a statement in which he didn’t deny or admit guilt to the accusations. Heavy backlash ensued, (he also used the statement to come out as gay) and Spacey was eventually fired from House of Cards, and then replaced entirely by Christopher Plummer as John Paul Getty in All the Money in the World. In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Plummer describes the whole situation as “sad”: “I think it’s very sad what happened to him. Kevin…
Earlier this week, it was reported that Gal Gadot may not return for the role of Wonder Woman in future DC Films (including Wonder Woman 2) if disgraced producer Brett Ratner was still involved in any way. Though Warner Bros. actually cut ties with Ratner, an agreement was still in place for him to get producing credits for films up until 2018. Per the recent report: “She’s tough and stands by her principles. She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet. She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her…
Earlier this week, a video resurfaced of Jon Stewart essentially laughing off a question regarding Louis C.K.’s sexual misconduct (that was alleged at the time). Given the fact that the misconduct is no longer alleged, having actually been confirmed as true, the video has some wondering what that was all about. Stewart came out today to clarify the video, but let’s first discuss the video from 2016. Stewart, per the 2016 video: “So the Internet said Louis harassed women? You know who you’re talking to, right?” He added: “I didn’t see the tweets. Honestly, I’m not that connected to that…
