Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men movies since 2000 is regarded as iconic – but this year’s Logan is deemed as the one film that truly got the Marvel character right. Jackman seems to share the same thoughts, as he revealed in a recent interview with Variety: “I wish I’d started playing him like that 17 years ago. So there’s some sense of missed opportunity, but when I saw ‘Logan,’ I sat there and I did have tears in my eyes. The main feeling I had was: There, that’s the character. I feel like I’ve done it now.…

While Hugh Jackman is known universally as the popular X-Men character, Wolverine, it turns out the actor had a chance to play another well known character – even more so than Wolverine was before Jackman made it iconic. The role we’re referring to is none other than 007, James Bond. In a recent interview with Variety, Jackman revealed: “I was about to do X-Men 2 and a call came from my agent asking if I’d be interested in Bond. I just felt at the time that the scripts had become so unbelievable and crazy, and I felt like they needed to become…

While the Justice League movie currently in theaters has seen its fair share of criticism, it turns out back in 2011, Warner Bros. had much different ideas on where their DC Films franchise was going to go. We already knew a good amount about George Miller’s failed Justice League Mortal project, and while this isn’t on the same scale as that one was, it definitely makes for a worthwhile read. A new report from The Wrap details a script that was written by Will Beal that would have had no Aquaman, Batman and Wonder Woman’s son and a Superman enslaved…

While Baby Driver is considered one of the best movies of the year, there’s somewhat of a black cloud hovering over it, as one of the main actors in the film was Kevin Spacey, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple people and seemingly been blacklisted from Hollywood as a result. The director of the film, Edgar Wright, has now given his thoughts in a new interview with EW: “The truth of it is that I only had a professional experience with him and I wasn’t aware of any misconduct during production,” Wright said. “I’m as troubled and…

With all of the terrible things surrounding Hollywood right now in the way of sexual assault and rape allegations, director Bryan Singer has seen his disturbing past allegations resurface. Despite that, Singer has remained the director of the upcoming Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, – until now. A new report from THR details the director’s erratic behavior behind the scenes: “Bryan Singer is no longer the director of Bohemian Rhapsody,” the studio said in a statement. The decision reflected an escalating clash between Singer and actor Rami Malek and was caused by Singer’s being missing from the set, necessitating the Dec. 1 production…

We’ve heard for almost a month now that FOX is interested in selling their movie and television division, and that Disney is interested in acquiring it. The most obvious reason would be so that they could use all of the FOX Marvel characters for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but in addition to Marvel, Fox also has various other popular and valuable properties. It was reported last week that talks were heating up between the two companies, and now a new report today from Bloomberg states: 21st Century Fox Inc., the global film and TV company controlled by the Murdoch family,…

By now, it’s beyond repetitive to state that this year’s Justice League was definitely not the vision that director Zack Snyder had imagined for his finished film. While he didn’t get to finish the movie entirely because of a family tragedy, producers and cast members had stated that the movie was still Snyder’s. The movie itself essentially suggests that wasn’t true, and more and more details are coming out each week to prove that. Warner Bros. is said to have screened a much darker cut of the movie, but that ultimately wasn’t the route they chose to go with, as…
