One of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t even a hero. Loki has become a fan favorite during his tenure in the MCU, and actor Tom Hiddleston is truly adored. That is why the events of the blockbuster film, Avengers: Infinity War, were hard to swallow. Add to that Loki’s pension for faking his own death on multiple occasions, and fan theories have run amok on just how the God of Mischief survived Thanos’ vicious and brutal attack that culminated with crushing Loki’s neck. Now, Hiddleston himself has been asked about these theories and Loki’s fate,…

According to a new report, Ryan Coogler, the writer/director behind the immensely successful Black Panther, is coming back for the sequel. Credible sources have stated that Coogler and Marvel quietly worked out a deal for him and his creative team to return to the MCU. Ant-Man and the Wasp is now available for home release and fans are tirelessly scouring the film for Easter Eggs and clues towards the still untitled Avengers 4 (although Mark Ruffalo tried to let the title slip on ‘The Tonight Show’). Most of the time, these scavenger hunts lead fans to create some outrageous and often time horrendous fan theories. But, there is one theory coming out of the last Marvel Cinematic Universe film of 2018 that not only makes a lot of sense based on the evidence, but has some major implications going into the finale of the MCU’s…
X-Men: Dark Phoenix is the latest film in the Fox X-Verse, and quite possibly the last X-Men film fans will get before Disney and Marvel take over and reboot the series. With rumors of issues behind the scenes, several release delays, and the abysmal showing that X-Men: Apocalypse had, many fans are tired of Fox’s interpretation and ready for something new. Top that off with the particular director tapped for this film, and fans are doubly wary of this movie. Simon Kinberg, the writer/director of Dark Phoenix, just so happens to be the writer of the much maligned X3: The…
Sony’s first film in their own Marvel movie universe, separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Spider-Man, the Venom movie, had a lot of hype behind it before its release, and most of it was actually pretty bad. Scoring a dismal 32% on Rotten Tomatoes, many believed the film would be a huge bomb. However, it was the exact opposite, setting an October box office record and an audience ‘fresh’ score of 89%. It opened to a domestic box office of $80 million, shattering the previous record set by Gravity of $51 million. While most critics who caught the premiere of…
Warner Brothers’ dismal run with the DC Extended Universe is all but dead after the much maligned disaster that was Justice League. Although we’re still getting the solo Aquaman film, Wonder Woman ‘84, and supposedly the Flash movie is to start filming the first of the year, WB is going back to the drawing board with their DC movies. However, if Zack Synder had gotten his way, and released his version of Justice League, things may have been very different – with Batman especially. Synder had apparently already planned out the sequel to Justice League and planted seeds for what…

As the world gets ready to finally see the Venom solo film, and the first film of Sony’s Spider-Verse, producers Matt Tolmach and Avi Arad have confirmed that the next film in their shared universe is Morbius, starring Jared Leto in the titular role as the vampiric anti-hero. Speaking with ComicBook during the Venom press junkets, Arad and Tolmach confirmed that production on Morbius will begin very soon, with many reports pointing to a November start date. Both producers are particularly excited to see Leto tackle the role, expecting “awesomeness” from the method actor. Leto, himself, is supposedly a huge…
Spider-Man: Far From Home will be the first film in Marvel Studios Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, coming just moments after the events of the still untitled Avengers 4. We’ve recently gotten tons of behind the scenes leaks as filming is wrapping up in Europe, including our first look at Mysterio, as well as what could possibly be a stealth suit. Now, thanks to a new BTS photo, we’ve got an up close look at what is certainly a new Spidey suit, and it may have ties to S.H.I.E.L.D. Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe have done something unprecedented in the world of cinema, creating a unified continuity throughout their 20 plus films, and creating blockbuster after blockbuster, after blockbuster. The hype behind their films is so huge, they could very well not release one bit of marketing for a film, and it would still dominate the box office upon its release. And, it would seem, that may very well be what they are doing for the still untitled Avengers 4 film, the finale for their Phase 3, and the culmination of 10 years of movies. A theory…
