The New York Comic-Con had a surprise up its sleeve for those in attendance today as the cast of the Defenders united for the first time during the Marvel Netflix panel. Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) were all together to the delight of many fans at NYCC. However, if you weren’t there, much like the rest of us, you can watch them assemble via the video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CO6Emtrprg4 Pretty neat, right? The Defenders has been hotly anticipated for a number of months and we’re finally one step closer to seeing…

Well, the new Power Rangers trailer has landed and it seems as if we’ve got a Chronicle copy on our hands – that is, according to Max Landis. The ‘grim’ and ‘dark’ aesthetic isn’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the Power Rangers (however after the Adi Shankar produced Power/Rangers short that took the internet by storm, it seems as if Hollywood has other ideas). As you can see from the trailer, we’re introduced to some angsty teenagers who have all sorts of relationship problems. One character even decides to cut her hair in protest before swaggering…
Thor: Ragnarok is still over a year away from being released however that’s not stopped fans from speculating what’s in store next for the son of Odin. We already know that the Hulk will play a big part in the movie and early on in the year some Planet Hulk rumors started to surface thanks to some big pieces of gladiator Armour at the San Diego Comic-Con. Well, it now it seems as if Schmoes Know may have some more information as to which direction the story may be heading: MAJOR POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD! You still with us? Tut, tut,…
We’ve heard it time and time again – will such-and-such appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The answer is usually a resounding ‘no’ and guess what? It’s another no from Mike Colter. The ‘Luke Cage’ star was recently asked in an interview on Power 105.1 FM’s Breakfast Morning Club Radio Programme about whether or not we’d be able to see Luke Cage or any other character from the Netflix series make their way onto the big screen. Unfortunately, he had this to say: What we do is really unique. We’re adult kind of oriented. We’re not PG-13. We’re not really for the…
In recent years the WWE has become much more than just a wrestling industry. The emphasis on ‘entertainment’ is now stronger than ever with wrestlers now testing themselves in the film business, comedy circuits, podcasts and much more. Although not all can be as successful as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, it seems as if Vince McMahon has big plans for his latest pet project, Roman Reigns. Having recently come back from suspension, his character doesn’t seem to have been affected as his push is still currently going at full force. Whether you like him or not, Roman Reigns is Vince McMahon’s golden boy. The fans however are much…
John Carpenter has had a long and illustrious film career that has spanned many decades amongst different genres however he’s also received recognition for his unique synth scores that have defined his films. Whether it be Halloween or The Thing, his film scores have become an iconic staple in horror history which many have since tried to replicate with little success. On February 3rd 2015, he made his debut album ‘Lost Themes’ which was met with critical success by fans and critics alike. Then on April 15th 2016, we were treated to his second album ‘Lost Themes 2’ which was once again praised by the music…
John Carpenter has gained quite a reputation when it comes to voicing his opinions and at the tender age of 68 years, it seems as if he really doesn’t care about what others may think. Well now he’s done it again and this time it’s Rob Zombie’s turn to be at the receiving end of his wrath. Speaking last April, to students at the New York Film Academy, he briefly touched upon the time Zombie had referred to Carpenter as ‘cold’ during the production of his Halloween reboot. “He lied about me. He said I was very cold to him when he told me he was…
Rob Zombie is back and he’s certainly not pulling any punches. 31 is his latest venture into the horror genre in which he uses all of his familiar tropes from his past movies and amplifies them up to 11, creating something truly mesmerizing. If you’ve not been a fan of Zombie’s previous work then there’s nothing here that’ll change your mind, however if you’ve enjoyed past installments, such as House of 1000 corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, then this’ll certainly tick all the right boxes. Thirteen years since his directorial debut, most people will know by now what they’re going…
You may not recognize his face but the majority of you will probably have heard his voice in the Disney hit, Big Hero 6. Well now he’s lobbying for the part of Robin with a new video showcasing his fighting skills. Although it looks more like a Power Rangers spoof, it’s still great to see an actor put himself out there and have some fun. With just a few indie films to his name, it’s more than likely that Ryan Potter is doing this to promote himself to casting directors rather than seriously chasing the role of Robin, however it seems…
John Krasinski recently spoke to Conan on Tuesday where he shared a strange encounter with Matt Damon. Having been a big fan of his for a number of years, he was finally able to meet his idol after his wife, Emily Blunt, invited him onto the set where she was filming The Adjustment Bureau alongside the action star. Having arrived and eagerly awaiting his chance to say hello, he was quickly whisked to a tent where he had the awkward displeasure of seeing his wife sharing on screen kiss with Matt Damon through a monitor. After the take had finished Krasinski then recalls how…
