Olivia Wilde is the latest actress to throw her hat into the ring for the coveted role of Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel. It sounds as though we may our first plot details for the upcoming Batman solo film and it sounds like we’ll be seeing a fan favorite arc. THR is reporting that Oldboy actress, Pom Klementieff has been cast in James Gunn’s intergalactic sequel in a key role, (later revealed to be Mantis). What this role is, is as of yet unknown, but the site did report that Marvel conducted a wide search for its mystery part, which called for an Asian actress, doing several rounds of chemistry reads. So whatever part it may be, it appears to be a character of Asian descent. It looks as though Captain America may finally be getting the comic accurate costume fans have been asking for since he first appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger. A picture has made its way online showing a t-shirt from the upcoming film Captain America: Civil War. It sounds like we may be getting a team-up a lot sooner than the Defenders miniseries. Another of Batman’s rogues has been added the current season of Fox’s prequel show, Gotham. The latest addition is cold hearted scientist, Mr. Freeze. Freeze – AKA Victor Fries, will be portrayed by House of Cards actor, Nathan Darrow, in what according to TVLine will be a recurring role. Despite being first reported back in August, we have yet to have confirmation of Chris Pine’s participation in the upcoming Wonder Woman film starring Gal Gadot. Luckily, we now have our answer from the man himself.
