In a recent interview with Cinema Blend, the films screenwriters, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick discussed the films script and what was cut from the finished film. The first character they reveal was dropped from the film was Patch, the proprietor of the mercenary dive bar known as the ‘Hellhouse’ where he also dispatches contracts to the patrons. Wernick revealed that this character was eventually merged with that of T.J Miller’s Weasel. He explained: Weasel basically assumed Patch’s behind the bar job. Well that was fast. Despite the big game having not actually started yet, we’ve already been treated to our first new trailer of the day, and it’s none other than the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. Check it out below: We also have other quick glimpses…

It was rumored back in November that not only was Fox planning another X-Men film, but that Bryan Singer would also be back at the helm. That might not be the case. Earlier this week it was announced that the directors next film is an adaption of Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, which is being described as a ‘New franchise’ something which, depending on its success, could lead to Singer’s schedule becoming pretty full in the coming years – not leaving him much time for everybody’s favorite mutants. About the upcoming 20,000 Leagues franchise, Singer revealed: “I’m…

Despite Marvel only just being relaunched as the All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe, the company is already planning its first major event, and it looks like not everyone one is getting out of it. There will be SPOILERS ahead. Last month it was reported that the upcoming event Civil War II, would see the demise of both Tony Starks loyal friend, James Rhodes and Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk, something which may be true if their placement on the cover of Civil War II #0 is anything to go by. They seem to be an odd choice to feature on the cover were…
We’re just under two months away from the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil arriving on Netflix and it sounds like things are going to become difficult for our titular hero if the latest promo is anything to go by. The promotional image, released by the company’s Italian Twitter account gives us a look at Matt Murdock’s familiar glasses looking a little worse for wear. Does this mean it won’t just be his alter ego who comes under fire this season? You be the judge of that: The image was also accompanied with the ominous message ‘The balance of Hell’s Kitchen…
One of the questions left unanswered by last year’s mega hit Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens was the fate of Gwendoline Christie’s character, Captain Phasma, last seen being shepherded into a trash compactor. Christie told the publication: “I will be in the next Star Wars movie. I think that’s an exclusive, actually.” Despite being heavily featured in advertising and merchandise for the film, the character actually featured very little in…
