The upcoming Prometheus sequel, Alien: Covenant may have lost the original films star Noomi Rapace, but that hasn’t stopped director Ridley Scott from wrangling up some new actors to his return to the franchise. Deadline has reported that Mexican actor Demián Bechir, who was last seen in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight will be joining the film in an as of yet undisclosed role. Marvel have released a new Daredevil promo ahead of tomorrows new trailer, this time focussing on Matt Murdock’s former flame and assassin Elektra. The video features Elodie Yungs, Elektra engaging in some combat ona rooftop, presumably in Daredevils stomping ground, Hells Kitchen. It’s interesting to see whether this will be the characters final costume or if whether, like Daredevil, this will be a prototype version. The sequel to Guillermo Del Toro’s monster fighting epic, Pacific Rim may finally be making headway as a director has been found in the form of Daredevil’s ex show runner Steven S. DeKnight. Everybody knew that Captain America: Civil War was going to feature a big cast but even now there’s more names being added to the lineup. The run time has been revealed for next months Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and if you are a fan of long movies – you’re in for a treat.
