With the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse seemingly featuring all the key members of the X-Men, one can’t but help wonder whether we’ll be seeing an appearance from everybody’s favorite Canadian mutant…..and no I don’t mean Puck. Since it was first announced, fans have been eagerly anticipating the Avengers style team-up event which will see Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist join forces to take a greater foe. This weeks episode of the CW show Legends of Tomorrow see’s the time travelling heroes back in the old west, where they meet up with a famous character from the pages of DC comics as we can see in new images released. The episode titled ‘The Magnificent Eight’ introduces confederate lawman Jonah Hex, played by Johnathon Schaech, into the ‘Arrowverse’. There hasn’t been much information revealed about Hugh Jackman’s swan-song to Wolverine so far, but we now at least know who will taking on the villain against Canada’s most famous Mutant. Deadline is reporting that Narcos star Boyd Holbrook will be joining Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart as the villain in next years currently untitled sequel to The Wolverine. Yesterday saw the first screening of Marvels upcoming superhero epic Captain America: Civil War and as one would expect, it was met with praise from the crowds. Read on to here what some of the reviewers are saying. There does seem to be recurring aspects to many of the reviews, with a lot of commenters making comparisons to Warner Brothers latest superhero team up film, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. It’s been previously hinted at that the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, possibly titled Spider-Man: Homecoming will feature appearances from other members of the Avengers, but now we seem to have confirmation that this is the case from Marvels head honcho, Kevin Feige. It looks like we may be seeing a new show being added to Marvel’s ever growing television universe with the announcement of a new show featuring fan favorite characters, Cloak and Dagger. Variety announced today that the new show has received ‘straight to series’ order for the Freeform (Formerly ABC Family) network, a channel aimed towards a younger audience as evidenced by the currently airing Shadowhunters series.
